Spiritual forces are constantly transforming us into holiness or wickedness. (Part 1 is here, and Part 2 is here.) Please read them as a foundation for Part 3.

Do you ever feel that you are subject to constant correction? Do you find this discouraging? You provide constant correction when you drive a car and don’t think twice about it. You know that driving a car is a dynamic act that requires diligence. You can’t leave the wheel in a constant position in the direction of your destination. You steer to follow the road and don’t feel judged or condemned for doing so. Can you apply this same principle to your spiritual life? If you cease to be corrected you cease to grow. Can you welcome the process knowing it is for your benefit?

I think this blog will "blow your mind" as we explore the third and final New Testament verse which has the word “transform” in it. "Lord, HOW does transformation occur?" (Part 1 here)

Do you think of honor and humility as opposites? You look at those who grasp for honor for themselves and see no humility in them. Yet what about those who are honored even though they did not pursue it? Do they seem humbled to be recognized? Has this ever happened to you? I spoke of those who gave alms and did other good deeds before men to be seen of them, and said that they already had their reward. But I told my followers to do their good deeds in a way that would not draw attention to them, and that their Father in heaven would take notice and reward them openly.

LaWanda – ♪♪ O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder consider all the worlds Thy hands have made.  I see the stars.  I hear the rolling thunder and there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art. ♪♪  O Jesus, if we just look around, the world inspires our AWE.  Even in this evil age in which we live, there is still much that proclaims your Glory.  Thank you, Lord, that you have not removed yourself from America, that we can still see you at work if we will just look.   To know this, Lord, I need look no further than myself, at the continual transformation of my own heart.  Thank you, Lord Jesus.  Help me to share you with someone today.

Do you have a grand narrative for life? Your faith includes one at no extra charge, but grand narratives are falling out of favor in the culture at large. This is the post-modern view, and it looks inviting for those who have found the grand narratives available to them to be stifling. But be careful what you throw away. The conclusion of this approach is that life is a series of random disconnected events. This goes against the nature of all people to classify and categorize things, to fit them into a coherent structure.
