Most people do not examine their faults because it is an unpleasant experience. Others examine their faults for the purpose of condemning themselves.

Have you ever heard of ‘killing time’? Have you ever done it? This concept is not in principle consistent with the abundant life I offer you. It is no blessing to have too much idle time on your hands.

Perfect Peace When Your Imagination Is...Question: A ministry I was learning from says that you are teaching visualization which is not scriptural. What is your response to this? Mary

Answer: Thank you for your question, Mary. What we teach is that if man chooses what he wants to picture and visualizes that, then that is wrong. If God grants you a dream or a vision, or Jesus paints a parable, or the Bible tells a story, it is not wrong to picture these things.

We define "Godly Imagination" as picturing things the Bible says are true.

Do you think that someone’s words are a true indicator of their heart? By your words you shall be justified or condemned. Yet thoughts precede words and are a more certain measure.

What to say about Christian Leadership University?  Great, amazing, wonderful, organized, practical, you can do it, great subjects, and… “old fashioned”. Yes, that’s right,  I said “old fashioned”… Why??  Simply because it is about spiritual disciplines such as quieting down before the Lord,  prayer,  listening,  journaling, Bible memorization, Bible reading, etc. 

My word says that I send rain and sun on the just and on the unjust. Do you think of sun as good and rain as bad and interpret this to mean that there is joy and sorrow in the life of believer and unbeliever alike?

Ray Broad, a dear brother in our Lord, resides in New Zealand. As a retired pastor, He found new freedom in two-way communicating with our God through the teachings of Drs. Mark and Patti Virkler. Following is one of Ray's journal entries he shared with me that reflects this new found freedom and speaks to our Lord's great love:

John 17, verse 24: "For you loved Me before the foundation of the world." Dear Lord, the love the Father had for You was everything to You. Please speak to me of this love.

If someone comes to you in distress to share their troubles with you they often complain about some person who has wronged them. If you decline to enter into unrighteous judgment against this person are you accused of being uncaring?
