10 Temperament Commandments

The following 10 Temperament Commandments were developed by Uta Milewski, a dear friend, and Chief Executive Assistant to the lead pastor, Ron Burgio, in our church in Buffalo. She offers a wonderful counseling service based on understanding your temperament which we highly recommend. As a result of this course, a divorced couple is getting back together again. Praise God!

10 Temperament Commandments by Uta Milewski

1. Thou shalt not judge others by your own ideals.
2. Thou shalt not assume everyone should want what you want.
3. Thou shalt not despise other people’s needs as they are different from yours.
4. Remember each other’s needs, that they are God’s tool for creating community.
5. Honor each other’s differences.
6. Thou shalt help meet each other’s needs.
7. Thou shalt encourage biblical, godly living.
8. Thou shalt not put down as fact something that is merely thy own opinion.
9. Thou shalt not call bad something that doesn’t meet your own preferences.
10. Thou shalt warn those who attempt to meet their needs in a way displeasing to God.

A Different Kind of Counseling

Unlike secular physiology which is based on evolution, temperament theory teaches that each person is created uniquely by God with a purpose that fits their temperament. This teaching is useful not only to individuals and families, but also can be used for team building in companies, schools, and churches. Participants will:
