Best Part of the Day – Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

O Jesus, I see you today talking to a small group.  I am beside you resting with my head on your thigh.  I don’t know exactly why but this position gives me great comfort and peace.   Being in the same room with you would be enough, but that you allow me to be so close to you and even touch you, Lord, amazes me every single time I find myself here.  Thank you Jesus, my precious, precious Lord.

Jesus – LaWanda, my dear one, time will never change Me wanting you close to Me.  Whether you are intently listening or falling asleep, I want you near Me.  Do you remember how Mike said he felt when you would finally sit down beside him when you came home from work?  How he said it was the best part of his day?  Any time that My children come to Me, I am pleased.  Any time you turn to Me and acknowledge me, it pleases Me, dear one.  I long for your attention to be focused on Me in prayer or reading My word or simply sitting in my presence.  For when you do, I can pour My love into you.  I can pour Myself into you.  Come fall asleep in My arms, dear one, or at My feet.  I am always here waiting for you to come home.
