LaWanda – Jesus, Jesus, how I love Him. How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er. Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus. O for grace to trust Him more. O for grace to love Him more. ♪♪ I don’t know why that is the first song that comes to my mind, Lord, but it is. Thank you for the grace that called me, the grace that allowed me to answer and the grace that covers me even now. Thank you, Jesus, thank you.
I see you today, Lord, teaching a small group. I am in the group with all the others. I wonder as I am listening how you can read me so perfectly. Of course, I know you are God and are omniscient but it still amazes me. But what amazes me even more is the love that you have for each one of us, that fits us so perfectly. We hardly know you but you know us intimately. Thank you, Lord, for your everlasting love poured out on humanity on the Cross. Poured out for me. The greatest gift EVER given. Thank you.
Jesus - LaWanda, my dear one, my precious, precious one. Oh how I love you. I saw you in my mind’s eye before you ever were. I knew you then. I have known you for eternity, LaWanda. Of course, I know you well. You are just beginning to know me. Oh, you know me so much better than when you did 8 years ago when you started using Journaling Prayer but there is still so much about me to learn and even more to experience. And it will be my JOY to take you there. Oh, LaWanda, the places we will go! (I don’t think Dr. Seuss will mind if I borrow that, since I gave it to him in the first place).
You are making great progress, LaWanda, but there is still MUCH to do. Listen to my voice and then obey. As you are obedient, not only will I bless your obedience, but I will also multiply the blessings attached to it. Eyes have not seen, Ears have not heard NOR can minds imagine all that I have for you. Listen to my voice and then obey. Obeying is your part. Mine is all the rest!!! ALL…THE…REST, LaWanda. Ponder this, dear one, and rest in the Glory of My name!
