I have grown so much through the courses I have taken at Christian Leadership University. I love being able to hear my Lord's voice. I have been doing counseling for several churches since 1991, and have always relied on the Spirit to lead the counseling sessions. I have had counselees tell me that my sessions are such a breath of fresh air from other counseling that they have had. I tell them that it is the breath of God. I totally rely on the Lord. I don't discount the many tools that the Lord has given me through education and conferences, etc. But things go so much better with the Holy Spirit.

Jarrod Irwin Led to Christian Leadership University by Dreams
About four years ago, I felt that God was asking me to learn how to hear Him through my dreams. Shortly after that, my dreams increased in frequency by at least 5-10 times! I went from having 1 or 2 dreams a night to having 4 or 5 dreams a night and then I would also doze off during prayer or worship and have another 2-10 dreams during the day!
I read many books on the subject including, Hearing God Through Your Dreams: Understanding the Language God Speaks at Night by Dr. Mark Virkler and Charity Virkler Kayembe. At the end of the book was a short section on the 4 Keys to Hearing God's Voice. I then read the book by that title. This, what I have come to call, “listening prayer” exercise has dramatically transformed my communication with God! I practice it almost every day and sometimes several times a day. I am excited about the idea of doing coursework with this kind of journaling!
A few weeks ago I had a dream that I was going through some curriculum by Mark and Patti Virkler. In the dream, I said I had already gone through that curriculum, but then I was told that there was more. It was in response to that dream that I found this university. I believe God has confirmed that I should engage in this program.
