Read Matthew 2 (NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION)

“Come, and walk towards the gates of Christmas Mountain, and see the gates open. It is important to Me that your heart is at peace as you come here.  I see the heavy burdens that you have carried in your heart, and the questions and struggles of life’s events.  As you walk up to the house, I want you to see that I have the keys to the house. I want to give you a key to the house, so that you can come here anytime you want.”

“Let Me unlock the door, and open the door for you.  I am here for you. This is why you have a key being given to you. This home is now yours, just as it is Mine.  You can come to be with Me at any time.  Your Father’s house is also yours.”

“So, sit down, and let Me put more wood in the fire. I want the fire to be kept burning for you.  I see that you have many questions.”

“See as I pull a little, small, almost old pocket version of the New Testament Bible.  As I flip through this little Bible, there are plenty of old fashioned paintings of the Nativity story. Sit down, and let’s read the story again today from a fresh perspective.”

“The theme that I want to look at today in this story is the direction and guidance of a meditation of how the Nativity characters looked for places to live, to stay.  The wise men were guided by My star and by scripture to find the place of the Child Jesus.  Mary and Joseph had been guided to the home where the baby Jesus lay.  Remember, that Mary and Joseph lived in troubled times, where they needed to have a safe place of security and comfort.  I then directed them when it was time to move to Egypt; through dreams and My Spirit’s voice and again when it was time to move back to Nazareth.”

“So I want to direct you and your footsteps.  I see that your mind is all over the place.  Wait one second while I walk into the kitchen, I have poured you a warm glass of apple cider with cinnamon in it- and come back to you and give it to you. Drink, it is to both keep you warm and bring rest to your weary soul.”

“You are looking for direction, guidance about where you should be in your life right now. There is so much that you are looking for and you feel lost and confused.  Don’t be, I am with you.  I am guiding you in all that you are doing.”

“I want to give to you the keys that you are looking for; to find the place where you are supposed to be staying.  I know that you are looking for a place of rest, of comfort, where you can feel at home.  With employment, a place to live, and the circumstances of life; I want to bring you into this peace.”

“You don’t have to be afraid.  Remember that Joseph and Mary had to trust that I would provide a place in Bethlehem for the baby Jesus. I will provide for you, you will not have to live in fear.”

“It is not My desire that you have to be afraid of whether things will work out in the future or not. No, it is My desire that you find rest and relaxation in My love and in My presence.  Rest and enjoy the love and the presence that I am desiring to give to you.”

“I see your list of the things that you have to do; and how overwhelmed you feel about everything.  Let Me help you to know what you need to know for today.”

“Joseph and Mary did not have all the answers for Jesus. They did not know or completely understand all the details of how his life would be shaped as a child and young man.”

“I know that you need more than comforting words, you need more than just rest. You need answers.  Answers come in relationship.  Hold out your hands before Me. See what I wish to give to you.”

“I wish to give to you the key to the house.  I wish you to believe and trust Me and keep asking Me for the desires of your heart and the needs that you have, not with fear, but with faith.  It’s not about turning the Father into Father Christmas or Santa. It’s about the deep relationship that we have where as your friend you can be real with Me over the issues in your heart.  It is in deep trust that you are able to be at peace within yourself even when you don’t have answers.”

“When you don’t have answers to big important questions that you need to be solved, that is not the time for panic.  When you don’t know the answers, worship and keep everything in prayer, and be secure that I see the importance of needing these big questions answered.”

“I am here with you.  The first answer to your question is that I am the peace, I am the Truth and the answer to all your questions. Remember how to hear My voice.  It was in the stillness of the night that I spoke to the wise men and spoke to Joseph. It was in the stillness of the night where they had surrendered the importance of their questions over to the Spirit of God. It was My Spirit that spoke and bypassed human understanding.”

“So with both quietness and confidence shall be your strength.  Come to stillness and look for vision in the midst of your fearful situations, like the Wise Men and Joseph did.  I will speak and then you will carry out what I have spoken into.”

“So, yes, remember that Herod was after the Baby Jesus. The Baby Jesus needed safety and security and there was a time to go back home to Nazareth.”

“Come back home with Me, and I will speak to you about your heart. Do not fear, little one, for it is My desire to bring peace and resolution. Look to the Spirit to bring healing.”

“Now, I bring to you a writing pad and paper.  What are the direct questions in your heart? What are the direct questions that you need answers for? I am here, I am listening.  Write down your questions and journal what you hear Me saying, so that I may be with you; bring you peace, and bring the direction that you are looking for.”

Journal Entry: Father, here are some of the questions that am I asking You where I need Your direct guidance. What do You want to speak to me about these questions?
