My child I love you. I made you in my image and prepared a world for you that reflects my goodness. You have an abundance of resources for life even though you may have to labor and till to make the earth bring them forth.

Do you know the right way to worship me? My word tells you to worship me in spirit and in truth. These guidelines admit a wide range of manner and style. It is more about the attitude of your heart than the type of your music.

When a child is born the relatives will comment on what other family members he resembles. Appearance is genetically transmitted, and so are behaviors and personality traits. In the long run it matters more who the new arrival acts like than who they look like.

Do you think that the way you handle money is an indication of your character? You have a limited amount, and so you choose to buy some things and not others. My word says a great deal about money. There are talents and pearls of great price.

You leave footprints wherever you walk. If you are in snow or fresh tilled earth the footprints are obvious, but they are present even on hard paved surfaces even if they are not as easily detectable. In a greater sense you leave footprints in life as well, whether you mean to or not.

Do you wait until you are in a crisis to turn to me and seek me? Do you find that even after neglecting your daily spiritual life that I am still there to answer when you call on me?

I tell you to think on things that are pure and lovely. Do you think it is impossible for thoughts to be sins, unless they result in action? Where is it that you meet with me?

Do you know what the best kept secret is? No one in the world knows when I will return. The Father revealed all things to me, but I told my own disciples that of that time no one knew, not even the Son, but the Father only.

I have promised you that my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Does this agree with your own experience? Have you ever borne burdens that are onerous and oppressive? Perhaps they were not given by me.

Do you think of me as being the light of the world? But I spoke to an audience of my followers and said, ‘you are the light of the world’. Are you uncomfortable with this concept?
