The Day I Tried to Die - Journaling Prayer By LaWanda

LaWanda - Precious Lord.  How I praise You.  As I lay at your feet, Lord, I am brought once again into Your presence.  Thank You, Jesus, for Your mercy and Your grace.  Oh, Jesus, help me to surrender to Your Lordship.  Help me to realize – KNOW - that I don’t have to be “in charge”, that I am NOT in charge of anything.  Oh, Holy Spirit, touch me now.  Precious, Lord, I surrender to You.  I surrender ALL, Lord, I surrender ALL.

Jesus - LaWanda, My child.  My beautiful daughter.  My love for you is everlasting, LaWanda.  EVERLASTING.  From the foundation of the world, I have loved you.  Your days are written in My Book.  I have known them all, LaWanda - ALL of them.  Your good days and your bad days.  I have known them.  I was there on July 18, 1996 when your pain was so great that you decided to “check out.”  Why do you think you did not die?  Why do you think you had NO side effects from all those pills?  I was there, LaWanda.  It was no accident.  Not good luck or fate.  I WAS THERE.  I held you in My arms as you cried until you could cry no more and I brought you back from the depths of that pain.

I have you in My arms now, too, LaWanda, My precious one.  So precious to Me.  My thoughts toward you are more than the sand, LaWanda.  MORE than all the sand in the world.  Actually, there is no way to fully describe My love, so I used the sand.  1,000 grains of sand in one thimble.  Oh, how I love you, LaWanda.  One thimble, LaWanda.  1,000 thimbles cannot tell the wondrous depth of My love for you.  A million thimbles cannot.  And, all you have to do is receive it.  As you receive My love today, LaWanda, let it permeate you and flow to everyone you meet today.  It is for you, but as a conduit.  It is yours to give.
