In this dream I was stressed, dazed, tired, and unfocused. I was invited to teach a group of women. I taught them something new I was learning. My father met me the next morning and told me it was not a good teaching.
The setting of the dream: The day before the dream I spent reviewing a 357-page academic dissertation showing why a specific doctrine was unbiblical. It was tiring and disquieting and energy-draining. My feeling was YUCK on the false doctrine (which I have never believed) and YUCK on the tiring purely academic dissertation that debunked it. (I felt I needed to read it because a CLU student told me that I believed and was promoting this false doctrine in one of our CLU courses, and thus I was a hypocrite for knowingly promoting error.) I concluded I had never heard of the doctrine, and I did not find it being promoted in that CLU course. However, this entire process had drained my spiritual life and vigor.
Upon awakening, I journaled
Mark, there are so many things people get caught up in, but one is most important, and I have chosen you to speak that ONE thing, fellowship with Me. Communion with Me. Life flowing from Me.
All other things are as worthless as compared to that. Very few are teaching people how to commune with Me. You are called to teach that. Continuously always, regardless of what topic you touch, you must bring them back to commune with Me about that topic and remind them HOW. That is your gift. The HOW is the gravy that makes things GOOD!
My first action step after receiving the above journaling was to write up this NEW 4 Keys summary below. Please feel free to copy and share any or all of this blog widely and freely.
WE CAN live as Jesus lived - constantly communing with God!
Jesus’ guarantee: “My sheep HEAR MY VOICE" (Jn. 10:27).
- Communing with God is easy: Quiet yourself down, picture Jesus at your right hand, tune to flow, and write (www.CWGministries.org/4keys; Rev. 1:9-11; Hab. 2:1,2; Acts 2:25; Jn. 7:37-39; Rev. 22:1; Heb. 12:2).
- Ten writers who wrote more than half the Bible used these four keys (www.CWGministries.org/million).
- Our perfect example: Jesus did nothing on His own initiative but only what He heard and saw His Father doing. (Repeated 11 times! www.CWGministries.org/initiative; Jn. 5:19,20,30)
- Writing/Journaling is recording the flowing thoughts and pictures you are receiving from God, the Fountain of living waters (www.CWGministries.org/highlightedVerses; Jer. 2:13; 1 Chron. 28:19).
- We get to walk on God’s Highway of Holiness, as we live the way Jesus lived. Jesus always did what the Spirit told Him to do (Jn. 8:29), and He had a good insightful knowledge of the Scriptures (Matt. 5:21-48).
- This crucial lifestyle is called Abiding in Christ, abiding in the vine, and living by the Spirit (Jn. 15:4,6,7,9,10; Gal. 2:25).
- The fruit of this lifestyle: I manifest Christ's character (Gal. 5:22,23) and His power (1 Cor. 12:7-11).
How important do you believe it is that we live this lifestyle?
"I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words (rhema = spoken words) abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you" (Jn. 15:5-7).
