I get to exchange my guilt, heaviness, loneliness, fear, and inadequacy when I experience salvation. Salvation occurs when I exchange my life for Christ’s life. My lordship for His lordship. This is an amazing, exciting, energizing, and transformative experience! It is open for all. It is open to you.
Mankind's dilemma and God's provision
- Sin is our problem: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Rom.3:23)
- Sin results in death: For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom. 6:23)
- God’s LOVING provision: God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Rom. 5:8)
We take this step and God promises a wonderful result…
- If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. (Rom. 10:9-10 ESV)

- Do it now - A sample prayer for accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior: “God, I’m a sinner and deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provide for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus, and Jesus alone, as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You, Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!”

Experience freedom
I was lying in bed, experiencing tormenting thoughts. If I die tonight, I know I am not prepared to spend eternity with God in heaven. So I got up, went downstairs, and told my parents I wanted to get saved. They took me to the pastor's home. He led me in the "sinner's prayer" and I experienced the freedom of salvation. Fear, guilt and shame left me. The hope of eternal life with the Lord filled me. A passion immediately rose to read the Bible and discover what God had to say to me. That was age 15. I am now 73 and am continually amazed at the unfolding reality of what I have received by receiving the Holy Spirit into my heart. Life is an adventure. I am living far beyond my dreams, and I am excited about the future! Isn't this your day to embrace Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?
