The journaling below is from Ian Wilkinson, one of our Christian Leadership University students. It is a word of encouragement and guidance for these times of great change.
Wisdom from Meditation on Joshua – Taking the Promised Land.
Two-way journaling: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.” (Psalm 84:11 NKJV) In these days of shaking you will witness the destruction of the various “ites.” They will not surrender easily for their hearts have been hardened but they will go because I will work, and they will not be able to stand before me. I want to work through my people. I want them onboard. They need to align with me in a righteousness that exceeds the superficial understanding of Evangelical theology - their shallow concept of the gift of righteousness. I require that they wear the robes of righteousness and that they buy gold from me refined in the fire. I require the fruit of right-living before me. I require that they hear and obey. That they walk by faith. That they listen to my voice. They allow me not only to write my laws in their hearts and minds but also to be in constant communion with them via journaling and prophetic utterances.
The enemies you face in these times are powerful compared to you. You don’t stand a chance if you face them alone. But with me you not only will face them you will overcome them. The first enemy is fear, and it will diminish as you stop feeding it with fake news. You must understand that much of what is taught and thought in your culture is false. Layers of presumption and lies and doctrines of demons. When you hear truth, it will seem wrong because you are so accustomed to lies.
There is a fifth column in this battle. There are enemies within as well as without. When you succumb to pride and presumption you align with the Amorites. When you succumb to fear and worry you align with the Hittites. When you succumb to greed and impatience - wanting a get rich quick scheme - you become as those that worship idols like the Canaanites. When you try to go on your own you will be defeated as at Ai. When you fail to consult me, you will be deceived as with the Hivites of Gibeon. There are urges and drives within you that arise from the flesh which is why the flesh must die. Baptism is not an empty ritual I devised for something to do with my spare time. It has importance and power.
You must be born again to see and enter my realm. Abiding in the vine - surrendering that time and giving me your focused attention is part of dying to self as is laying down independence and reason. Pride is a powerful enemy, and you cannot defeat pride in human effort since human effort will not kill itself.
I will give you “reason” to listen to me. I will reward waiting upon me. I will cause the light to dawn upon you. You will be able to shake of the shackles that hinder you - the lies and ideas of demonically inspired theories. You will be able to escape the pull of gravity and ascend into the heavenlies. Stay focused on me and stay listening to me. The time is soon coming when you will face your Jericho and your Ai and your Gibeonites. You will by my grace not rob from me (like Achan) or presume to go into battle without me or without consulting me. Now is a time to enter rest - allow the fetters to fall away. Relax and listen. Hear. Think clearly without fear and the contamination of false news. Relax. Focus. All will be well.
Liberate your soul. Trust me to deal with the big issues. I can handle the world. I can handle the feeble attempts of my enemies to rule my world. You are my child, and I want you to get to know me and enter my realm. I spoke words of comfort and encouragement to Joshua. I came to him before the battle with legions upon legions of mighty angels. Trust me. You haven’t seen anything like what you are about to see. Rivers will stop flowing - barriers will dry up. Walls will collapse. Wall street will collapse. The sun will stand still. There will be great signs and wonders. Great shaking and turbulence. Stay on course. Stay with me. Pray with me.
