He’s in No Hurry to Let Me Go - Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda – O Jesus.  O my precious Jesus.  O how I love Jesus.  O how I love Jesus.  O how I love Jesus, because He first loved me.  O Lord, how can I ever thank you?  How can I ever thank you for your love, your presence, and your word?

I saw you today in worship, Lord, and I was so overwhelmed by your presence that I just wrapped my arms around your neck and cried, sobbing until I could sob no more.  I don’t know if they were tears of overwhelm or love or what? But you just let me cry.  You let my tears cover you as I buried my face in your chest while your arms held me tenderly and securely.  O Jesus, what a precious moment.  You were in no hurry to let me go, to go on to other things.  How glorious it is to know that my Savior has time to hold me in his arms and love me in a way that no one else can.  PRICELESS.  Thank you, Jesus, precious Lord.  Thank you, Jesus, precious Lord.

Jesus – LaWanda, My dear one, My precious, precious one.  It is My good pleasure to give you the Kingdom, and that includes ME!  It includes My presence.  O precious one, My word is full of promises of how I will be there for you, of how much I love you and want you to come to Me.  These promises, My personal invitation to you, are everlasting, LaWanda.  Every single moment I am thinking of you, LaWanda, cherishing you constantly in My every thought.  That is what I have said in My love letter to humanity in Psalm 139.  I had you in My mind when I went to Calvary.  O precious one.  Tremble as you stand in awe of Me.  And then fall on Me when you can stand no more.  I rescued you because I delight in you, and I cannot resist a heart laid down in surrender to Me.  When you are at My feet, LaWanda, I surely will be there with you.  Rest here, My dear one, rest in this, My word to you today.  Take it into your depths, LaWanda, hold it there.  Cherish it and remind yourself often today of the depths of My great love for you.
