It has been so wonderful and fulfilling as a Counselor to be able to help people using PTHTH (Prayers That Heal the Heart) to be healed of their heart wounds and then see them getting filled more with God‘s perfect love.
I have put together, with Dr. Mark’s help, a program where you journal Bible verses on God’s love and then ask Him to give you a picture of what His love looks like in your life. This will amazingly fill your heart with God’s perfect love! (Download link at end of blog.)

Healed through Prayers That Heal The Heart
“I had been carrying around a decade of trauma, years of secular counseling, yet the trauma was all still there. After watching the 4 Keys to Hearing God’s Voice series, I immediately emailed Dr. Mark Virkler who recommended I work through PTHTH with Pastor Don Paprockyj. I just love Pastor Don (and his wife, Myrna, who prays as he counsels). I can tell he lives through flow, as he is an amazing conduit of the Lord’s love, peace, joy, compassion… I always feel safe and secure with him.
“I had so much hurt and unforgiveness stuck inside toward people close to me. I began to push them away, dreading gatherings. I would have nightmares about the pain and rejection I felt in my heart. With Pastor Don’s guidance through PTHTH, the Lord helped me to forgive them all. Letting go of this unforgiveness allowed room for Jesus to come in and heal my heart completely - not even a scar remains! Instead, I look forward to getting together, and the love in my heart for these people just continues to grow!
“Another big victory I have had with PTHTH is over depression and sleep! There were days where my body literally could not wake up. It wasn’t unusual for me to sleep 16+ hours a day. Pastor Don and I each asked the Lord separately what the cause is. He told us both the same thing – generational depression. Pastor Don used PTHTH to break the generational sins and curses that had become uncontrollable in my life and, more importantly, to replace the space with the Holy Spirit.”
Being Filled with God’s Love: “Two-way journaling with the Lord is a game changer for anyone who wants to experience a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Don gave me seven pages of love verses. I simply write one down, and ask the Lord, what do You want to say about your love for me in this verse? I tune to the flow of the Holy Spirit and write. Doing this daily is changing who I am from the inside out by renewing my heart with God’s love! Hearing from the Lord about how much He loves me grows my love for Him, which increases my desire to walk with Him in obedience.
“After journaling about God’s love, I ask Him for a vision of how the Scripture and journaling applies to my life. These living encounters with God takes what He said to me and seals it into my heart. As I picture myself with Jesus and He embraces me, I can feel it in my heart. I can feel His peace, love, joy, hope… Rather than trying to recall a page of journaling, I can instantly recall the vision from the Lord. These visions the Lord gives me is where He touches my heart and I have peace that my whole world is ok.
“With the Lord’s love growing in my heart, my self-love is growing also! God is crazy about me and so proud of me, exactly the way He made me. Who am I to put down His creation!”

“Lord, what do You want to say about Your love for me with this verse?”
“My love reaches the highest heights, and the lowest depths. There is nowhere My love does not go and nothing My love cannot overcome! My love covers the worst sins, bondage, oppression, pain and scars. There is nothing that My love cannot heal and restore 100% and beyond! There is no evil My love hasn’t overcome. My love covers the sins of the entire world. My love defeated and still defeats sin and death. My love makes all things new, all things better. My love deserves all thanks and praises. My love lives through you. Nothing I do or say is separate from My love. I am love, and it is impossible for Me to act outside of love. My love is unmovable, unshakable, dependable, reliable, consistent and eternal. Rest fully in My love, let it bring you peace and joy – which stem from love.”
Vision of Verse and Journaling:
I see myself as a toddler, hugging Jesus‘ legs. He picks me up and tosses me in the air with such a gentleness. I smile and laugh in delight. The Lord shows me that His love has been holding me and keeping me since before I could comprehend or choose to rest in it. He is still keeping me in His perfect love. I just need to rest in it!
