Hebrews 11:11 - Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda – O Jesus, precious, Lord, how I praise you.  How I love you, Lord.  And I lift my voice to worship you, O my soul rejoice.  Take joy, my King, in what you hear.  May it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear.  May it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear.

O Lord, I see you today, receiving the praises of your people.  I thank you for the reminder today from Pastor Steve that my worship has an audience of One – YOU!  It is so easy in the midst of it to focus on my singing, the praise team, the people around me, everything but You, Lord.  Forgive me when my eyes are not on You, precious Lord.

I thank You, Lord, for the Passion Translation and how you use it to draw me ever closer to You.  You are constantly building my faith through this translation of the Bible.  Hebrews 11:11, regarding Sarah, “…for the authority of her faith rested in the One who made the promise, and she tapped into His faithfulness.”  I couldn’t believe the way this came alive for me today, Lord.  I immediately claimed it as my own and made it mine.  “…for the authority of MY faith rests in the One who made the promise as I tap into His faithfulness.”  WOW!!!  What a glorious faith builder.  Thank you, Lord.  Thank you, Holy Spirit.  Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.

Jesus – LaWanda, my dear one, my precious, precious one.  Don’t you just love it when My word comes alive to you, for you?  And with this verse, especially, through you.  I can hear you sharing it now and it makes me smile.  And it will build your faith every single time you speak it, whether you are claiming it again in the moment, sharing it with someone or praying it over someone.  This verse has allowed you to “own” something that has always been yours but that until now you only claimed or used in a limited way.  As a believer, you have always had the authority I gave to you.  But now you can proclaim it as you pray for others.  They will know you are praying with the authority of the King, the One who made the promise, and depending on His faithfulness.

I know you’ve read this verse many times and at least twice in the Passion.  But when you read it today, Holy Spirit spoke it into your spirit in a mighty way and you have been changed because of it.  Forever changed.  Now walk in the authority that has been awakened in you this day.  Mark it down and remember this day, LaWanda, for you have been forever changed by My word today.  A new season has begun, dear one.  A new season has begun.
