Hiding - Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda - ♪♪ I love you, Lord, and I lift my voice to worship you, O my soul rejoice.  Take joy, my King, in what you hear.  May it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear. ♪♪ Lord, what a simple, beautiful prayer.  It is my heart’s cry this morning.  O, Jesus, how I thank you that the Father now sees me as holy, flawless and restored because of your sacrifice on the Cross.

I see you, Lord, teaching a small group of people.  I am there, Lord, but I am hiding.  I can see you, but I am hoping that you cannot see me.  I am afraid that you will see my sin, Lord, and yet, I want to be close to you.  And then…in the middle of a sentence, you pause because you have seen me.  I am at first…frozen in place…mortified, but then, I realize that there is no judgement in your eyes – only love.  You continue to speak but I am undone – forever changed by this one moment of being touched by your love.  O Jesus, help me to come to you even when I want to hide.  Lord, especially when I want to hide.

Jesus - My dear one, my precious, precious one.  Oh, how I love you.  When you are in Me, when you have accepted Me into your heart, My love in you covers anything that you did, are doing now, or will ever do.  You forget that I have already cast your sin as far as the east is from the west – ALL…OF…THEM!  I died for all of them and there is no sin beyond the reach of the Cross.  That moment on the Cross when the sky went dark and the earth quaked was not just a dramatic moment in a book or a movie.  My Father, who I had been with for all of Eternity past, turned His back on Me.

You cannot begin to imagine the agony of that moment for Me.  I endured what can never be endured so that My Father will NEVER turn His back on you if you will only accept what I did on the Cross.  And, when you do…”There is now therefore, NO condemnation” against you.  No one – not even yourself – can condemn you, for you are held in My arms, the arms of love.

If you are feeling condemned, it is not from Me.  The enemy will condemn you and make you want to hide.  But what is hidden cannot be healed.  Holy Spirit will convict you and cause you to want to change.  Bring everything to Me and refuse to listen to the voice of the enemy.  You have a choice.  Listen instead to My voice and rest in the righteousness I purchased for you on the Cross.  Rest here in My love.  Rest here and be free.
