I AM the More You Seek – Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda – O Lord, you are Holy.  O so Holy.  Thank you, Lord, for seeing me through the eyes of the Cross, the eyes of your Blood.  O Jesus, you simply overwhelm me with your grace continually poured out on us.  I am dumbfounded.  I cannot fathom this great love you have for us, Lord.  I stand in awe of you, Lord.  I just stand in awe of you.  Set this, your truth, deep within my Spirit, Lord, that I might praise and honor you.  For in your presence, I will still overflow and be anointed.  Even in my old age, I will stay fresh, bearing luscious fruit and abiding faithfully. (Psalm 92:14, TPT)  This is my prayer today, precious, Lord Jesus.

Lord, I see you today standing, teaching.  Your words so profound, Lord.  Holy Spirit sends them like arrows to our hearts.  The TRUTH of them is immediately known.  It is simply recognized in that moment as TRUTH and KNOWN.  We cannot escape it, Lord and yet, O Jesus, we want more.  More of your truth and more of you.

Jesus – Of course, LaWanda.  I AM the MORE that you seek.  The more my word is in you, the more I am in you.  That is why you want more.  Once you have tasted and seen that I am good, nothing else will do.  That is why I desire to set my truth deep within your spirit.  It will give you the desire for more of it and more of ME.  Yes, get this, LaWanda, more of the word is more of me.  So do not let one day go by without getting ME into you and as you memorize my word, you are indelibly imprinting it in your mind, your will and your emotions. And from there you will speak it to others as the Holy Spirit leads you.  As He opens the doors, it will flow from your lips with His power and lives will be changed.  As I “set” my truth in the depths of your spirit, LaWanda, with every single verse, you become more like ME.  And I don’t just gently place it there, I “set” it there as concrete “sets.”  It becomes a part of you and will not be moved. 

As you use my word again and again, the Truth of it, the depths of it, becomes greater and greater.  O  LaWanda, my beloved, dive into the depths with Me.  I want you here and you will be satisfied no other way.  My presence has spoiled you for anything less.
