Instantaneous Miracles & Process Healing

If we consider healing as encompassing both instantaneous miracles (Iaomai) and process healing (therapeuo), then there is no need for a person to be healed instantaneously. It could be either way: process or instantaneous. That resolves the issue that we need to see 100% quick results, as no one is getting 100% quick results. The process for both types of healing/miracles is perhaps identical.

If you put your body, soul, and spirit in a healing mode, then God’s healing power (energes) is flowing and the healing/miracle WILL manifest in its own time. This takes the pressure off saying you will get a miracle. Instead, we would say, you are putting yourself into the healing mode and the process of healing is working.

I do believe that healing power increases as we engage in each of the following steps:

1. Our bodies are designed to heal naturally if we give them the proper tools (nutrition, hydration, exercise, and kingdom thinking - love, joy, peace, thankfulness).
2. Additional power is released when you include believing prayer, and receive what Jesus provides through Calvary – by His stripes we are healed (1 Pet. 2:24).
3. Additional power is released when you are listening and obedient to what God is speaking (rhemas) to you (Jn. 15:7).
4. Additional power is released when several come together in agreement (Matt. 18:19).
5. Additional power is released through the laying on of hands (Lk. 4:40).
6. Additional power is released when you go to the elders of the church and together confess sins and pray for healing (Jas. 5:15-16).
7. Additional power is released through deliverance and inner healing, breaking off generational sins and curses, ungodly soul ties, ungodly beliefs, inner vows and word curses. (See Acts 5:16 – Therapeuo and Prayers That Heal the Heart).
