This martyr’s life has been planted as a seed that we believe will bear fruit of turning 1 million to Christ. Lord, let me receive Charlie's spirit of boldness in proclaiming Christ.
Charles Finney: Revival comes from heaven when heroic souls enter the conflict determined to win or die - or if need be, to win and die! The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
LaWanda - Oh, Lord, You are worthy. You ALONE are worthy. You are worthy of it all. You alone deserve the glory for the world of Nature, for all the good in the world and for what You did on the Cross. You alone, Lord. Help me to give you that honor and glory for EVERY good thing in my life. Every single one of them. The glory belongs to you. Remind me of this, Lord, when I begin to think that I did any of it – for it is only by your grace, your hand on me, that I could do anything good. Thank you that Your hand has been from before I even was me.
I see you, Lord, teaching a small group. How intimate these times are, for you are revealing the revelation-secrets of your promises. You are sharing your heart with us. It’s just so “intimate.” It’s hard to describe why it is, but it is. We are changed just by your sharing. Thank you, Jesus.
Jesus - Sometimes, my dear one, it IS hard to explain. Is it intimate because it is just a few people? Is it intimate because I am revealing the secrets hidden within My promises that no one else knows? Or is it intimate because of the love that is inherent in My sharing them? LaWanda, my dear one, it is intimate because of the eternity that I have known you. Intimacy requires knowing. And knowing requires time. You will never know Me to the depth that I know you. But the depth of your knowing Me will increase as you spend more and more time with Me. And that is the ONLY way it will. Only by giving yourself to me through your time will you ever know Me more deeply. It does nothing to increase My knowing of you but knowing Me intimately will come no other way for you than through the sacrifice of your TIME!
T – Tell Me everything. Relieve yourself of carrying all that you hide.
I – Increase your knowledge of Me by spending time in My word.
M – Make this a priority.
E – Everything – every little thing – I desire to know everything. Not because
I am unaware, but because you need to be relieved of the burden of it.
Ponder these things, LaWanda, and then do them. Surrender them ALL to Me.
