Overview from Pastor Vijay Christian: Prashanth pastors one of our churches and heads our prayer tower and prayer team. He is an anointed Bible teacher, preacher, rhythm guitarist of our A2J band and photographer.
My name is Prasanth Joshua and when I was seventeen I was filled with the fear of the Lord while I attended a Christmas celebration organized by Friends' Meet Ministries on December 1st 2000. It happened while doing some skits, I felt God talk to me. You see, I was born and raised in a Christian family and my father was a pastor. I never had a thought or fear of the Lord in my life at that time. After that day a new chapter started in my life. A desire sprouted that I must be saved, must pray, read the word and participate in the ministry.
From then on I attended the fellowship of Friends' Meet Ministries, started growing in prayer and the word. I started enjoying the salvation of Jesus Christ in my life. Bad thoughts, bad company, bad behavior has vanished and started living holy, unselfish life.
God used Friends' Meet Ministries as a strong weapon to transform my life. For that, I thank the Lord Jesus Christ. While I am growing, my leaders Vijay and Neeraja has recognized my zeal for the Lord and encouraged me in the ministries. Their encouragement was a major turning point in my life and I started to recognize the purpose the Lord had for me for my goals and vision.
I praise God for my leaders. Not only that my co leaders and brothers strengthen me every moment. They encourage me and help me a lot. I praise God for these brothers also.
The Vision that God has given me is to be a praying missionary. By the Spirit of the Lord, I am led to be a prayer warrior. From then on, I started my journey as leading the prayer department for Friends' Meet Ministries.
Surely, through Friends' Meet Ministries, God will help me be a prayer warrior for the nations. To give the prayer support to every program organized by Friends Meet Ministries, conduct 3 days of fasting prayer every month, all night fasting prayer and praying for the nations and the city on the Friends' Meet national prayer day on August 14th. Not only that, but organizing prayer walks through dangerous areas and other areas filled with darkness. Organized prayer seminars to raise up prayer warriors. Through my team and I we hope to influence every city, village, nation and the world through our prayers.
In these last days for the edification of the church and for the salvation of lost souls, God has given us a few plans for continuous prayer 24/7 through a prayer team. This basic team is being prepared and praying for Friends' Meet Ministries and for the universal church and salvation of lost souls.
My main purpose in my life is to prepare many prayer warriors and to influence the entire world through the prayers. Please pray for me.
