I’ve had what I’m confident is the typically beautiful experience journaling. Powerful, moving, inspiring are weak explanations. I felt compelled to share this one. As I’ve been working to SEE more, don’t rush and allow Him complete control.
For most of my visualizations I try my best to be led to where I meet Him rather than choose a location beforehand. (If you haven’t done this, I recommend it!) This morning I began by picturing Jesus, no setting just Him. He is standing there with His arms open waiting for me. When I embraced Him I was taken to an open meadow, lush green grass, speckled with flowers.
Jesus: Good morning My son, it is good to see you!
Me: Good morning Father, you are such a welcome sight this morning! Father, how would you like to use the eyes of my heart?
(We begin flying kites)
Jesus: I wish for you to see Me through them as clearly as you see through your physical eyes. I long to show you wonders you have not imagined, to take you places you have not dreamed of. To walk with you there, to play with you there, to work and relax together. Keep practicing and focusing on Me, with time you will regain all of your abilities to live here. Coming together in fellowship here is where you can grow in peace and safety, where you can ask questions, hear wisdom and truth. The distractions of the day are left behind and we are committed to one another. Here I can give you your wings to soar high, I can show you the endless and limitless possibilities where everything is possible through Me!
(He touches my shoulder and suddenly I have large angelic wings, like enormous eagle's wings, but pure white and sparkling like diamond. They are powerful and magnificent. I look at His face and He is smiling ear to ear seeing how enamored I am.)
Jesus: Do you see how inspired you are by seeing something as small as being given wings? How much more can be given is beyond measure.
(At this I flapped the wings and with a single powerful movement I was launched high into the sky. I fly around flipping and turning, playing like a child with a new toy. I look to Him and He is laughing in delight for me, like a proud Father seeing the joy of His child’s happiness! I come back and land before Him and kneel.)
Jesus: With devotion to Me, this power of vision will propel you forward, helping you grow and see your path. I can use it to hone and direct you. With these wings you will be able to carry great burdens, to shelter and protect others, to fan fires and blow away the enemy. Look for Me always, look to see where I direct your path, look to see how I help others and imitate Me. Watch Me and learn to become My brother! Find others and bring them to Me, fly to places unknown, take hands and lift them from the mud. Bring them back to Me to be washed clean and crowned with righteousness. Pull them from despair and torment, deliver them to Me for peace and forgiveness.
Me: Father, I long to serve your will and your kingdom.
(At this we are no longer in the meadow but in a place of pure light. The light is consuming, penetrating, it enters my being and I glow with it. I’ve been taken here before and He told me it is a deeper place. Then I see Jesus motion with his hand and two angels land next to Him. They are large and formidable, wearing full armor. So fantastically powerful they are almost frightening.)
Jesus: Take My servants with you, they will protect and serve you in My name. They are warriors of God most high and will be your friend and companion in work.
(At this they walk from His side and stand behind me to my immediate left and right.)
Jesus: They are assigned to you, use them in My wisdom, they are called Peace and Joy.
I experienced this, this morning. I have to say I feel it would be an injustice to not add that I have felt a presence since. It’s difficult to put in words but there’s an unusual feeling of confidence and safety. I pray this blesses someone else today and carries His breath into your life!
