Jesus says, “Get it together, take it out of your building…”

This is journaling sent to me by Barb and shared with her permission. Barb is a CLU student, in bed, recuperating and healing and growing by leaps and bounds in the Lord. I am proud of her!

Jesus speaks

I am thinking thoughts waaaaaay above yours; I am thinking about galaxies and universes, empires risen and fallen, stars going Nova, stars being born; I am thinking of the beauty of creation and how it continues to unfold before me, more complex, more populated, more delightful, and more heartbreaking every day.  It is good. 

I am thinking, wee one, of you too; of your Sabbath, the way you keep it; the way you take communion in your home and ask your friends to join in my supper, so like that first, last, supper;  the way you try to emulate the old ways when you can, not because of a religious spirit, but because you want to be closer to me, and living as I did is the closest you think you can come.  I like that you do that; it is a sweet act of homage.  

But it's not as close as you can get.  You can have my mind right IN you, and you often do, and you're becoming more and more cognizant of which thought is whose.  In this, in so much, you are pleasing me.  You bring me SUCH delight.  Not necessarily in anything that you do (though the fact that you're doing the right things is in itself also pleasing), and of course; I am delighted when you hunger SO MUCH for me and that pleases me; why you do these things. 

I have a wee something to do with that hunger, but you have just as much; you are my happy thought, the reason I sing; I am so far gone for you that I would die for you - and did.  I FEEL all that love for you - and for everyone who is, who was, and who will be, ALL THE TIME. 

What am I saying???  I am saying:  "Unity!!"  I am saying "Church, wake up, come together, get it together, take it out of your building, into your streets where your brothers and sisters are in actual need behind dumpsters, in CEO offices, in the work-a-day-for-a-dollar world with no hope, no love, no eternity, no miracles, nothing to live for but the next fancy gadget/wife/husband/family. 

I'm saying:  take that light I've given you and (as soon as I give you a platform) shine.  I'm not just saying it to you; I'm talking to my whole church, but you're certainly a part of it.  Worlds change one smile at a time. 

I know you're bedridden right now, and I myself have told you to stay there; you do need rest after nigh 58 years of trauma (you had a major one every decade; the past decade, was FULL of trauma; you need to recuperate).  But even from there, you can show your smile in so many ways.  You can write loving Christmas cards; you can respond to prayer requests howsoever you receive those; you can when you're well enough continue to offer your friends communion, and pray with them.

Whenever you're able, physically go to church and when not, thank me that you also have an online church and go there. For today, Sabbath, I am feeling joy at my people who observe this day.
