Lord, show me the areas of my heart that are wounded and which You would like to heal. Do I have a fullness of faith, hope and love concerning: Day 3 - My ministry:
Vision: Jesus and I are talking and walking through a nature scene and I am carrying a small beige suitcase. It seems I am going towards a path, one of sand, that I am unaware of. I look at the path and it seems a long way, but far ahead is a beautiful scenery of mountains and lush, green trees. Jesus stops me and looks at me, He is looking at me in a way that He is blessing me for my journey. I open the suitcase and take out a piece of paper and continue.
Jesus: I bless you, Cathy. I bless you in your journey. I bless you in your ministry. To you, it seems all ministerial plans have changed for you. Things are not what they once were. But do not look at your life as purposeless. I know how much your life has been tied to the Church. I know how much you desire to serve Me and I don’t want you to lose that heart because of life’s trials and demands. I bless you in your journey, because soon you will have a different path, a path where you will raise your son. But that doesn’t mean you should believe the negative expectations of others that your life stops, even ministry, once your child comes. The reality is that, yes, everything will change. You won’t be available and free in deciding what to do. But I don’t want those negative thoughts and anything unhealed within you, from the pain, to get in the way. Your ministry is serving Me faithfully. And that begins with what I have given you stewardship over. A home to take care of, that includes your husband and child. As you are being a housewife, fulfilling your duties, and a stay-at-home mom, raising a child for My kingdom and glory, I will be training you and equipping you for your ministry. Yes, even the mundane tasks and demands of life are all one big part of the puzzle of My plans. The journey may be long, but it’s beautiful and filled with order, peace and hope. Do not let the discouragement of others and lies of the enemy deceive you into thinking there is no purpose anymore. I have chosen you and called you, just be confident in that. And let the new season shape you and transform you into who I want you to be, not what you though it should be, even in ministry and Church. Be hopeful. Be patient. Be willing to be shaped by Me, and watch how I will use you, even in the season to come. There will be new and different territory. One that is expanded but will be filled with lessons, grace, love, and influence. I am with you, My child. Your time will come. Just take it one day at a time. Be sensitive to My voice, and My voice alone. And watch what I will do. Be blessed, dear one.
Cathy: Hallelujah, amen Lord. I feel a sense of hope and I receive it. I thank You for the new season that will come, and I will believe that You will work even in the routine. Help me to be faithful and know my time will come. And that though ministry will look different, but let me walk in the truth that as long as I have my eyes set on You, then I will walk in purposefulness. I love You, Lord, and I receive all that You want to do.
