Journaling Prayer - Hungry for More

LaWanda writes, Precious Jesus, precious Lord.   I am overwhelmed at your love.  It so permeates my heart – covers it, fills it, saturates every cell of my being.  I get it, Lord, well as much as is possible for me to get it.  Thank you. Jesus.  I see us walking along the beach.  Your left arm is around my shoulder, as we slowly walk along the water.  Your peace along with the place, the sound of the waves, the wind, etc., is so profound.  Oh, the treasures you are revealing, Lord.  Thank you, Lord.  I love you.

As I speak to you today, my words are peace to you.  They bypass your mind and your thinking and go directly to your heart.  They have found a home there. The peace that my words bring is magnified by my Creation – the waves lapping upon the shore, the wind on your face.  The sounds of peace.

My dear one, there IS a secret place reserved for the lovers of God.  Reservations are free and plentiful but most never make the call.  They go to church, maybe even participate greatly but just never get around to coming to that secret place.  Many have found it and their stories are told in the Bible.  But the percentage of those who do is small. Yet you have found your way here.  As you answered my call, over and over again, inch by inch as they say, you have come.  And because you have, you have been blessed.  And will continue to be.

There is a hunger that I have placed in you that only I can satisfy.  A thirst that only I can quench.  And even as it satisfies, it creates the desire for more.  More revelation, more Holy Spirit, more depth, more love.   More of ME.  It is a never-ending desire – a desire both satisfied…and not at the same time.  It is so satisfying that you MUST have more of it.  That is what true relationship with ME is.  Inches turn into feet turn into yards turn into furlongs turn into miles.  This desire for ME – for MY presence – can only be satisfied with My presence.

And, as you know me on deeper and deeper levels, you want to…you MUST reach for more – for places deeper still.  Think Eternity.  Think Infinity.  You will be satisfied as long as you desire ME…AND you will never be satisfied.  Who I am demands more…and more…and more…because I AM that more.

Yes, My dear one, I am “the MORE” you seek.
