LaWanda – Oh, Jesus, You have already blessed me so much this morning!!! My starting to write my visions this morning and my Journaling Prayer on that very subject being published on the very same day!!! Only YOU could have orchestrated that, Lord. Thank You for smiling at me to today, Lord. You have said that you are pleased with me, Lord, but when I get to see your pleasure in such a spectacular way, it blesses me beyond measure. I know it and then I really KNOW it! Thank you, Lord. I see it as a blessing for My obedience. As I have begun to take care of the things on My obedience list, you are telling me with that journal being published on the very day I was going to do THAT item, that I am on the right track. And you are showing me what can happen when I am obedient. Not only do I get your smile and your blessing, but my faith is increased as well. Oh how I bless you today, my Jesus. Thank you for that desert time, which has made your presence even that much sweeter. I love you, Lord, and I lift My voice to you today to worship you in this very moment!
I see you today, Lord, looking down at me as I am at my computer. You see my smile and my delight as I discover what you have so lovingly placed there for me. Yes, my Journaling Prayer will be a blessing to those who read it, but you KNEW how it would bless ME in ways that it could not bless any other soul on the planet by it being published today. Out of the 8 billion people on the earth, Lord and you chose to bless ME. You knew how special that would be to ME and how it would strengthen my faith. Oh, Jesus, precious Lord. What an awesome God I serve. You are the AWESOMEST!!! If that isn’t a word, Lord it should be. LOL.
Jesus – LaWanda, My dear one, My precious, precious one. It is My delight to delight in My children – to delight in YOU! Yes, LaWanda, in YOU!!! And, of course, I knew how it would bless you. That is why I did it in exactly the way I did. This is the blessing of obedience, dear one, and I wanted to make sure you got the message. It pleases me that you did. This is not something you could have thought of yourself, something you prayed for or even wanted. And, yet the very thing I did blessed you, as you so often say, “beyond measure.” It is indeed something that only I could have done for you.
Yes, I wanted to bless you, but there is also something else that I wanted to convey to you. Something of extreme importance. I wanted to spark your imagination and your faith. I wanted you to begin to think about how I might do this in other areas of your life – unexpected answers to prayers you have not even prayed yet! Unexpected blessings, just because I want to bless you, just because I love you. What would happen, LaWanda, if you lived in this place? If you REALLY expected Me to bless you for no reason, except that I love you? This is what living in Papa God’s lap is like, dear one. Much better than living in the Kingdom of Self, where what I do depends on what you do, rather than who you are. A place that is very unsatisfying and unfulfilling, as you well know, because you are always striving and can never rest. On the other hand, when you sit on Papa God’s lap, you only depend on what I did on the Cross. A much better place to be, don’t you think? Are there things I want you to do? Of course – love me, bless me, obey me. But My blessings are never dependent on what YOU do. If that were the case, the Cross would not have been enough. I do what I do because of WHO I AM, because you are My child and I love you. Not because of ANYTHING that you do. Please get this, LaWanda. It will change everything!
Don’t let this be a place where you visit, LaWanda. Decide that Papa God’s lap is where you want to live. If you do, you WILL be blessed beyond measure…again and again. He is waiting for you now, dear one. Don’t delay. He is always waiting for you to join Him there.
