Lord, Can I Trust the Thoughts and Pictures Which Come from My Heart?

Well, Mark, that is a question many have asked, including you. When you first began journaling, you asked, “How can I trust a flow that comes from an evil and desperately wicked heart?” Because that is what you believed you had based on your understanding of Jeremiah 17:9.

However, I taught you that you have a new heart and a new spirit (Ezek. 36:26). Your new heart and new spirit are not evil or desperately wicked, for I have made you a partaker of My divine nature (2 Pet. 1:4). I have joined Myself to you, and NOW we are one spirit together (1 Cor. 6:17). You CAN trust the flow which comes from your new heart and your new spirit (Jn. 7:37-39).

I also taught you that the flow comes from the vision being held before your eyes. So if you fix your eyes on Me and tune to flow, the flow will come from Me (Heb. 12:1,2). If you fix your eyes on anything else, then you have an idol in your heart, and the flow is distorted as it passes through the idol (Ezek. 14:4).

You also knew enough to reject the few times images of Me showed up and appeared with a darkened face which turned away from you. You know that was not Me and that it was a demon who was to be rejected. You rejected the demon the few times this happened, and turned your attention back again on Me.

You recall the time satan came as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14) and gave you the names of twelve people you should disciple, but your spiritual advisors told you “no” these were not the right people for this time in your life, so you did not pursue it and were saved from making a mistake, by being submitted to spiritual advisors.

You have been passionate to have your defiled imagination cleaned up of all evil scenes including fear and divisiveness and all else that is part of the kingdom of darkness. You have learned to look only and always at Me, and you have seen over the years how clean the eyes of your heart have become.

So yes, there are concerns, and yes, you have had them along with so many others, but you can see that I have met each and every concern effectively though my grace which is continually being worked out in your life. So rest in Me, rest in peace and know that I have done the work for you by taking all your sin and cares upon Myself on the Cross. I have made you completely new. I have provided for ALL that you will ever need. NOW you stand complete in Me (make this a link over to the blog on the cross), guided by My grace and covered by My love. You can trust ME! You can REST in Me.

Cleansing prayer – Where my imagination is renewed by Christ

I repent for vain imagination and ungodly thoughts and intents of my heart. I choose to totally submit my imagination to You, Jesus, and have You deliver me from every effect of satan in my imagination. I want You, Jesus, to be the only one that rules in my imagination from this day forward.

I ask You, Jesus, to deliver my heart and mind from all thoughts, pictures and emotions that are not of God and for the Holy Spirit to fill me with thoughts, pictures and emotions that come from Father’s heart.

I command my imagination to be conformed to the kingdom of God. I put on Jesus Christ and see myself clothed in His presence, radiating His light. I gaze at this picture and am transformed as I look upon it. Thank You, Lord, for changing me, my imagination, my thoughts and my heart more and more into Your own image by the power of Your Holy Spirit who is at work in me. Amen!
