This is a powerful example of how each of us can be praying for our nations. Ian asked the Lord about his country of Canada, and you can seek the Lord for your nation. Let's release God's presence and power into our lands!
Answer from Jesus: First of all with perspective. You are sitting with me in the heavenlies. You are soaring above. You have authority and power given to you. You are hovering as my Spirit hovers. Brooding. Bringing forth life and purpose. You words and prayers have impact therefore you must speak life not a curse. You must be an oracle. Your prayers like prophecies. Inspired by my Spirit. Allow my Spirit to speak and listen and in listening gain perspective and with it faith. Faith to speak forth my purposes for this nation. For I have plans. I have great plans. Like I did for Galilee. A forgotten area. Besmirched with obscurity. It will rise. Align with faith and destiny. Align with my plans and purposes for I have not abandoned Canada. Canada will be my dominion of Canada. The true north strong and free.
As you soar above the land, the cities and fields seem picturesque. You can see the landscape. And the landscape is beautiful. The dirt and filth is not visible. Just mountains and lakes, rivers and forests. Join me and I will teach you to have vision. To see. For intercession begins with vision. Vision of how things can be. I will give you my thoughts. I will give you my mind for this nation. For the plans of men and the plans of the evil one and his tiny cohorts do not worry me. I laugh. I am jolly. For I will sweep down and cleanse the land and restore the land to it’s proper place and purpose. Do not fear the future. I hold the future and I determine what will be. Your future in me is bright. Nothing is impossible for me. Praise me! For praise is a powerful weapon. Praise me with faith and perspective knowing for certain that I care and I’m aware and I’m executing my plan for this nation. Praise with full assurance of faith. Praise the Lord! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Remember who I am. Remember who you are. As you come before me on behalf of Canada remember that you are clothed in righteousness. You are an ambassador. You are a king. You are my child. I rule the heavens and the earth. I have made all things and I am before all things. Nothing is impossible for me. You have waited a long time like Abraham waited 25 years to see my promise actualized. He entertained possibilities of how he might help the process. You don’t need to do that. You don’t need to figure out what Canada is doing wrong or what you can do to fix it. You need only wait on me. Abide and ascend. Soar with me in the heavenlies. Eyes wide open. Eagles. Canada is not going to get what it deserves or what the media says or what the principalities determine. Canada is going to get what my Ecclesia declare in triumph. They will speak forth what I foresee for this nation. I am redemptive. I will restore. I will mend. I will heal. I will cleanse. I will make this nation great. Hope untainted by pragmatism or logic. Perspective, Praise and Hope. Faith comes by hearing. Listen as you soar. I will speak more.
Let prayer be the expression of the Person inside of you - Christ in you the hope of glory. Listen to him and express what he inspires you to say. Be led of the Spirit. Don’t be tethered to concerns - political or worldly. Be connected to my Spirit. Lean into him. Listen and then speak. Pray with perspective and with the person of Holy Spirit. You aren’t to follow a pattern or procedure. You don’t need a list. You need to partner with the living God who dwells within you and energizes your prayers into powerful weapons - missiles of blessing - that will reach the intended targets. Your strength and power isn’t in figuring out who is what and what needs what. Your strength and power are that you are connected to me the Lord of all the earth. So connect in flow and pray as I direct. Prophetic prayers. Prayers of faith born of rhema.
Wait upon me. First in the sense of entwining. Like rope is made stronger by entwining. You be strengthened by entwining. Secondly in the sense of patience. Wait to hear. Listen and wait upon me and I will answer - every time. I am with you. I am with you. And I watch over my word to perform it. Do you want to pray my words or your own words? If you pray my words I will direct them, watch over them and see that they are effective. Don’t just pray my Logos, pray my rhema. As you abide in me your prayers become fruitful because they are birthed in me and flow out from me in that river I have placed in your heart. A stream of prayer. Powerful effective intercession bubbling up from within your innermost being. Pray with me. We pray together. We pray connected - in partnership. Prayer birthed in me is already answered. It is done. It is not speculative wishful thinking floating like a cloud of midges. It is solid. It is determined. It is done.
You need eyes to see and ears to hear and a mouth to speak from the heart. Praying become a pleasure and an expression of joy and hope - sometimes warfare but often simply joy. Enter into the joy of the Lord by being with me. In my Presence is fulness of joy. Abide in me tuned to flow and prayer will emerge spontaneously undirected by you but directed by me. And you will see prayers answered.
