Christian Leadership University is excited to welcome Dave Frincke as our new Dean of Worship Ministry. Dave is the Senior Pastor of Heartland Church and the Movement Leader of United Adoration. He has a heart for worship as well as the knowledge and skills to lead others with him into worship and train worship leaders. He will be creating and teaching a whole new series of courses that we know will be a great blessing to all.

Here is a short testimony about Dave, in his own words.

At the age of 6, my dad introduced me to a prayer that if I prayed it, he claimed I would then be a Christian. I wanted Jesus in my heart. I constantly lived to please Him, but after this prayer, I expected to be perfect. No more spankings, no more corners. But instead, I felt worse. I struggled more everyday and I didn't understand. My parents didn't explain.

Peter journaled with 500 people at the Catch The Fire Conference in Toronto. When I asked for volunteers to come to the front to share their journaling, here is what Peter shared.

Pauline has been a long-time supporter of the message of communion with God. Now God has called her as a missionary to Kenya, where she is using our DVDs to teach 4 Keys to Hearing God's Voice and Prayers That Heal the Heart, as part of what she ministers to those who come for training.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me. The LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted parts within me. He has sent me to bind up broken areas, to proclaim liberty to captive areas and freedom to parts within which are being held prisoner. Today is my day of release! (Isaiah 61:1, paraphrase)

Principles: Prayer is most effective when applied directly to the point in time at which the wound occurred and when the broken, captive part has direct encounters with Jesus.

If I can define a thing, I can go after it. Clear definitions of spiritual realities open the door so I can pursue living by the Spirit. I choose to live and walk by the Spirit (Gal. 5:25)!

This last week I was honored to teach Hearing God's Voice, Dream Interpretation and Prayers That Heal the Heart at the Austin Disaster Relief Network Annual Conference. These are hands on Christians who are serving their community by providing relief whenever a disaster hits. This is a movement which is getting ready to begin setting up similar church-centered relief ministries in major cities across the nation.
