This book was written by Steve Long, a close friend and one of the senior leaders at Catch the Fire in Toronto, Canada. Steve asked if I would write two-way journaling questions for the conclusion of each chapter, which allows God to speak directly to each reader about their faith. I was more than thrilled to comply, so here you have it! Explore the feats of biblical faith, letting God speak to you about expressing His faith out through your life and into your world. Barry Amundsen listened to an online video from a Pastor Mike, a dispensationalist who does not believe God is speaking today. Pastor Mike decided to spend 30 minutes of his air time to attack the interview Sid Roth did with me years ago about hearing God’s voice.

You have already experienced a couple of blogs which contain material from CLU student, Pastor Joe Brock. He spoke at our Sunday morning service a few weeks ago, leading the congregation on a trip to heaven (check it out here), and in the second blog we published, he shared a vision of Jesus playing solitaire, and asking us to come, commune with Him so He is not so all alone.

Hi! I'm wondering whether you still share your journaling with someone else and why you would? Evidently when you wrote your book on the "4 Keys" you still did. Is it just a safeguard to always do that? 

“Tent Time” is a FREE curriculum for children based on Mark Virkler’s 4 Keys to Hearing God’s Voice. The 4 Keys are combined with the Tent Time concept of encouraging children to experience hearing God’s voice by doing what Moses did in the Tent of Meeting.

It captures their imagination, engages their hearts and the end result is that children experience hearing from God during class and at home.

In 1995 I graduated college and moved into a full-time associate pastor position. My family was involved in a church plant and in time, I became my father’s associate pastor. Who says God does not have a sense of humor? So for the next few years, I served the church in a number of capacities, all the while growing and experiencing the things of the Spirit. As time when on, my wife and I realized that the path we were on was parting from the direction of the church. So in an honoring parting of ways, we left the church and the denomination, determined to continue to follow the Lord.
