I Hate Writing So How Can I Journal?

Mark Virkler's picture

Mark, I hate writing, and I essentially don’t write. Is there any chance of sending me a paragraph on what you spoke about yesterday on the phone about breaking off any lies, fears of writing, fears of English and resentments toward school teachers, so I could pray through these things and get into two-way journaling? Thanks, Noel

The Day I Couldnt See My Angels by Charity Kayembe

Mark Virkler's picture

I'm pleased to have another guest post today from my daughter, Charity.

I appreciate her key insight, which really comes down to the issue of focus and the extraordinary importance of where we choose to give our time and attention, what we decide to pay attention to.

Enjoy this word and be encouraged as you continue pressing on in the spirit!

Does Microwaved Water Affect Plant Growth? My Grandchildren Did a Research Project for Me.

Mark Virkler's picture

I have seen pictures on the internet of plants withering when fed microwaved water, and I wanted to know for myself, so I offered to pay each of my three grandchildren $1 if they would do an experiment for me. Their mom, Charla Virkler, oversaw the experiment and she shares the results below.

Let's Take Our Places in God's Final Act

Mark Virkler's picture

I recently watched one of the most inspiring movies of my life, Father of Lights. It's about taking God to the people. It's about miracles and healings taking place right before your eyes, on the streets. Kind of reminds you of the Gospels, doesn't it?

You will see a Hindu being led by God through a dream to go the following day to a specific location and a person would be there to teach him important truths. The next day, he met the man whom he was shown in his dream and he heard the Gospel message which he gladly received and went back to his village to share Jesus. All this is captured live on camera in powerful, moving drama. Visit filmmaker Darren Wilson's website and get a copy to see for yourself!

Will God Still Grant Me a Miracle If My Infirmity Is Caused by My Foolish Mistakes?

Mark Virkler's picture

Question: Since my infirmity is a result of my own personal negligence and now my health is ruined, can I still expect a miracle of healing, or must I now suffer the consequences of my sin and foolishness? I feel guilty and ashamed and believe this is a cross I must bear as punishment for my sins. I believe God is teaching me a lesson through this, so if that's true, does that mean He wants me to stay sick?

Do You Know Why Your Silverware Is Made of Silver?

Mark Virkler's picture

Silver has been used for healing for centuries. The Greeks and Romans kept liquids in silver jars. During the plagues in Europe, many royal families escaped disease because they ate off silver plates and used silver utensils. It was used by the American pioneers to keep water and milk from spoiling or becoming contaminated. It is used by NASA to purify water in the space shuttle. Russia also uses it in their space shuttle. It is used by some airlines to purify water on flights. Thin silver foil is still used in India and China to wrap portions of food in. The food and silver wrap are eaten together. Silver is used in most of the burn centers in the U.S (check under "dressings" in this article). and has been used to prevent blindness in newborn infants eyes for many years.

Gifts of the Spirit - Walk in Your Divine Giftedness

Mark Virkler's picture

This post has been inspired and contributed to by Peter Wollensack, and his new, soon-to-be released book, "Discovering Your Spiritual DNA." Peter may be contacted here.

We all walk in amazing giftedness from our heavenly Father. Because of His great love for us He bestows multiple gifts upon us. He begins by endowing us with unique heart motivations at birth, then matures us so we become special gifts which minister life to others (1 Pet. 4:10), and on top of that He places the Holy Spirit within us, so that we always have direct access to Him and His resources to meet any need we face as we walk through life. Wow! What could be better than that? Nothing that I can think of. Let's briefly review these three aspects of giftedness.

Approaching Scripture with a Listening Heart

Mark Virkler's picture

The following story is from Robin Little: I recently resumed my studies with CLU after a four year break.  In the second lesson of the foundational course, How to Hear God's Voice, I had a question for my Instructor but she suggested I journal it instead.  Here are my questions and Father God's surprising answers.
