Released from the Victim Mentality - Journaling by Julia Lynne Parker

Mark Virkler's picture

Hello, Jesus!! Hello, Daddy God!! Hello, Holy Spirit of Truth and Love and Mercy and Grace!! I'm needing Your input into my life this morning. Thanks for friends that I can bounce things off of. Thanks for scenes that You only You will remake for me and those I love. I need You right now to help me focus on You, Jesus, to quiet myself down, to tune into the Holy Spirit. I am so excited to see what you will do. (I've turned on Julie True's soaking music A Stroll Along the Sea of Galilee).

Are You Looking for a Christmas Present for a Friend (or Yourself)?

Mark Virkler's picture

This brand new ebook of 100 short daily words from the Lord could be an ideal way for you or a friend to start out the New Year. Everyone loves devotional books, and this one by MaryAnn Diorio is extra special. God Speaks to Me eBook contains 100 devotionals where God is speaking directly to the reader. It is not about what God might say if He were alive today. It is God alive and speaking today! It is not, "What would God do?" It is, "What IS God doing?" Tell me if the Day 3 entry below does not speak to everyone's heart.

Healed of 35 Years of PTSD Through Inner Healing and Deliverance Prayer

Mark Virkler's picture

The testimony below is from Robert Thomas, a Sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. God set him free through a short inner healing and deliverance prayer session over Skype. I share this to let you know that prayer is the answer to lives being lived in turmoil. We appreciate so much the sacrifice of each one who has served in the military, and we say thank you to you all! Part of our thank you is that we as the Church can minister healing prayer to your leftover hurts and you can be set free. As we pray for one another we are healed.

A Heavenly Encounter Heals the Loss of a Daughter by Tom Zinn

Mark Virkler's picture

It had been a full year and a half since my daughter Katelyn Marie perished in a car accident while rushing home one evening to beat curfew. The pain of that moment, of the whole experience was my Great Sadness (see The Shack by Wm. Paul Young) bearing down on me daily and especially at night. Evenings were most difficult because the plague of "what ifs" would cover me from tip to toe, mulling me over in his clammy hands never letting go and squeezing every ounce of joy from my soul.

How Your Body Speaks Through Muscle Response Testing (MRT)

Mark Virkler's picture

I learned how to do Muscle Response Testing (i.e. Applied Kinesiology) in 1997, and at that time I wrote a book titled Health Mastery Through MRT. The book provides a biblical and scientific basis for MRT and teaches the reader how to do MRT. MRT is amazing because it allows your body the opportunity to communicate back to you what its needs are and how to best solve them. And it does this free for the one who learns how to do Muscle Testing, which is something I want to teach you in this blog. If you have heard Muscle Testing is New Age, then read this blog to help set your mind at ease.

Mark Holloway Is Our Newest Blogger

Mark Virkler's picture

I introduced Mark Holloway to you in a recent blog. He has written an awesome book of two-way journaling which details his battle with doubting that God is really speaking to him. I consider the book to be powerful because it describes with such reality the daily battle with doubt that we all struggle with. Satan wants us to doubt. God wants us to believe. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Whole Brain Learning by T. David Manohar

Mark Virkler's picture

T. David Manohar is one of our recent doctoral graduates from Christian Leadership University. We are proud of this accomplishment in his life, and are glad to publish an article he is using in the secular workplace on Whole Brain Learning. His article gives a brief historical overview of how scientists have come to the understanding of left and right brain functions, and then explores the question, "How can I use both hemispheres more effectively?" The specific topic he uses as an example to demonstrate how to use both hemispheres is writing.
