We’re all familiar with the oft-quoted passage from Ephesians 6 that warns us of spiritual warfare: Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the Devil’s strategies. For our struggle is not against human opponents, but against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers in the darkness around us, and evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm. 

I do agree that “a picture is worth 1000 words.” I wonder if TV, movies, and video newscasts are worth MORE than 1000 words? If so, can their power be countered in any way? How much is a FLOWING vision of Jesus alongside me worth, as I observe in REAL time what Jesus is doing? Let's see what the Bible says!

Question from Ashish emailed to me: As you may know, the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are poised to significantly impact the workforce. These technologies are expected to replace many human jobs, leading to widespread unemployment. However, the Bible teaches that those who do not work do not have the right to eat, as stated in 2 Thessalonians 3:10. Given this, I am concerned about the consequences of AI and machine learning advancements on people's livelihoods. I would like to know the Church’s perspective.

Unbelievable, isn’t it? I was taught drinking coffee was damaging to one’s health, so I didn’t drink it for most of my life. In recent years studies have proven the exact opposite.

How can I be filled with peace and joy when all is turmoil around me – turmoil not only in society and the political world, but in the Church also, with 47,000 different denominations.

LaWanda - I praise you, Lord.  I thank you for saving me.  Lord, help me.  Thank you for the teachings of Robert Morris.  How your word comes alive through his teachings.  Help  me to ingest them Lord.  Help me to desire you, Lord, more than anything.

I didn't know whether to share this, but I thought after the recent posts it would be encouraging. In 2015, Steph (my wife) and I had recently moved to a mining town in Yorkshire, England to help pioneer a church plant. I had been looking up online study courses a couple of years before and had seen CWG Ministries but had then forgotten about it.

This is journaling sent to me by Barb and shared with her permission. Barb is a CLU student, in bed, recuperating and healing and growing by leaps and bounds in the Lord. I am proud of her!
