The Western culture teaches us to live in the logic of our minds. However, here are ten pictures God uses in the Bible to tell us to live from the flow of the Holy Spirit within our hearts. Let's own the revelation of FLOW and live drinking from God's Fountain of Living Waters.
Bev asks: The Lord speaks to me mostly via dreams and images. I have heard His voice in my inner ear, but that is seldom. I too, am left-brained and I struggle with every little bit achieved. It takes me forever to recognize that the fleeting image I've seen is His voice. I feel awkward and foolish speaking in tongues - it does not seem to flow naturally, and I constantly doubt and question. How do I overcome doubt? How do I get past the questioning to relax and enjoy the presence of the Lord? How do I get past the constant feeling of foolishness whenever I share what I've seen or heard?

For many Christian professionals and businesspeople, the prospect of practicing our faith in the marketplace is overwhelming. It’s easy to remain paralyzed in the face of so many things calling for our time and attention. In the face of an overwhelming number of choices, most marketplace Christians default to what’s comfortable and familiar, which is to focus on worldly success in business and give up on having an impact for the Kingdom.
Question sent with a request I blog out an answer: I would love to know more about content along the lines of gender (husband, wife) - I am specifically referring to the roles, freedoms, limitations and relationship structures that exist for males and females in the home. The Western Church culture seems to have a view on gender set in stone that seems to be more along the lines of unredeemed humanity, past cultural context and hierarchical structure above Spirit-led relationships. I would love to know about a kingdom view rather than a church or religious view. Thank you so much! I’m looking forward to learning more about the topic.
When I wrote my book “Go Natural” we were on the Genesis diet which is a high-carb diet. Today in America, breads have lots of chemicals in them that are outlawed in Europe. It may be a language of men or of angels (1 Cor. 13:1). You choose to speak (Acts 2:4) but you choose not to form the syllables consciously, and instead let the Spirit give the utterance (Acts:2:4). The goal of this short teaching is to help people understand the part they need to play and the part the Holy Spirit plays when it comes to the miracle of speaking in tongues.
