When I read in the Gospels that Jesus healed, I assume that is the entire story because that is what is stated. I suppose that Jesus spoke or laid on hands or whatever, and the person was immediately healed. Well, that is not necessarily the case. The Gospel writers were cramming a 33-year life into a few short chapters, so chances are good that details have been left out.

This past week I had a wonderful time with a group in the Philippines who were just finishing video session 10 on the 4 Keys to Hearing God's Voice. The group was led by Michael Maga, and he had invited me to come to answer students' questions and pray a release of the anointing upon his students. We spent a wonderful 60 - 90 minutes together. Below is a picture of the group.

LaWanda – O Lord, how I praise you.  I thank you for revealing yourself to me again in such a beautiful way… Jesus is in the boat.  For you to bring it to mind when I was praying and then in the devotional is just beyond amazing.  O how tender are your ways, O Lord.  Thank you for revealing your heart for me to me.

Religions offer a theology about a God out there, whom we can have NO ongoing contact with. Christianity says we have Jesus, Who has risen from the dead, and we live in daily, dynamic relationship with Him personally.
