LaWanda – O precious Jesus, how I praise you, Lord.  You alone are mighty.  You alone keep your word and honor it even above your name.  You alone, Lord.  I stand in AWE of you, Lord.

Me - LORD, I am overwhelmed by what you are showing me. I started out my walk with you in a Baptist congregation. I was taught about baptism and was baptized, but I did not realize the grace/power it delivered. What You kept highlighting to me as I meditated on your Word was: “in the name of the Father, in the name of Jesus, in the name of the Holy Spirit.” Lord, this feels like treasure ….. speak to me, please.

God's promises work for those who believe and act upon them!

With the nation in turmoil and inflation high, one could get worried. However here is a much better approach. This word was taught on by the pastor of the church my son, Josh, attends in Kissimmee, Florida.

Lord, what would You speak to me?

Mark, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except by Me. It is time to re-introduce this to your people.

Linda - Oh my unsearchable God, I worship You. Lord, I have difficulty wrapping my mind around eternity while I still reside in this temporal body. When I meditate on Your names, Father, I just want to submerge myself until I am baptized in this revelation of who You are, and who You are in me. Talk to me about Your redemptive names.

I want miracles! I want spiritual transformation! Like Paul, I fight against the sinful desires of my flesh (Rom. 7), sickness in my body and lack in my life. I agree with Paul's conclusion: I cannot overcome the flesh using the power of the flesh. ONLY the power of the Spirit can work a miracle of transformation (Rom. 8). To access this power, I need to surrender self-effort as that stands in the way of divine enabling. Wow! I need to stop striving if I am going to make it in life! That's just a bit counter-intuitive!

The flesh cannot overcome the flesh - only the Spirit can!
I shift my faith from depending on self to depending on God.
Surrendering to God’s power allows transformation to occur.

I was 15 years old when I invited Jesus Christ into my life to be my Lord and Savior. It was by far the best decision I ever made and the best day of my life, as a load of guilt and sin was lifted off me and I felt a new freedom in the Spirit. Peace flooded my soul. How about YOU?
