I AM the More You Seek – Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

Mark Virkler's picture

LaWanda – O Lord, you are Holy.  O so Holy.  Thank you, Lord, for seeing me through the eyes of the Cross, the eyes of your Blood.  O Jesus, you simply overwhelm me with your grace continually poured out on us.  I am dumbfounded.  I cannot fathom this great love you have for us, Lord.  I stand in awe of you, Lord.  I just stand in awe of you.  Set this, your truth, deep within my Spirit, Lord, that I might praise and honor you.  For in your presence, I will still overflow and be anointed.  Even in my old age, I will stay fresh, bearing luscious fruit and abiding faithfully.

Merry Christmas from Mark & Patti Virkler and the Entire Office Staff

Mark Virkler's picture

It is a joy to celebrate the birth of Jesus and the love that made Him choose to come down from heaven to offer His life as atonement for our sins. Truly this is a gracious gift beyond anything we can imagine. He gave up His all for us. We give up our all for Him.

Because of His sacrifice we live.

Do Not Go on Passing Judgment Before the Time

Mark Virkler's picture

But to me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself. For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord. Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men's hearts; and then each man's praise will come to him from God (1 Cor. 4:3-5).

Angels and Christmas by Bill Dupley

Mark Virkler's picture

I love the Christmas season. This month, we have done Christmas sing-alongs for two events, and on Christmas Eve, we will be conducting a sing-along on our front porch for our neighbors. I love Christmas songs and carols. I live about 500 meters from my local United Church, and I am reminded that since 1826, people have been singing these same Christmas carols on Christmas Eve every year since then. There is an intimacy with God, I feel, knowing that so many people who came before me worshiped at the same time in the same place, singing the same songs.
