When God wants a descriptive word for His healing qualities, one of the terms He uses is "water."

I desire and prefer immediate miracles. However, the Bible states that in addition to miracles, God has provided to us “gifts of healings” (and both “gifts” and “healings” are plural in the Greek).

Key idea: Faith and love must both be present for miracle-working power to flow.

The picture I have of Jesus in my mind is that His power was unstoppable! Jesus healed the sick, cast out demons and raised the dead. The miracle-working power of God flowed through Jesus unhindered, and over and over it says everyone got healed (Matt. 4:24; 8:16; 12:15). This was until Jesus returned to His hometown.

Since God can perform instantaneous miracles, why does He use process healing?

LaWanda – O Jesus, precious Lord.  I love you, Lord.  I love you and I am so in awe of you.  The way you touch me.  The way you love me.  The way you fill me.  O Lord, you are worthy.  You are holy.  And  I am in so in AWE  of you.  Take Me deeper, Lord into this awe of you, this fear of the Lord.  This is my prayer today.

Yet there is still much to be done, both in the legal realm but perhaps more importantly, in the spiritual realm for those millions of people who have been affected in some way by abortion.
