I began this Zoom group because I knew that my clients, who are both married and single women, needed to get a clearer understanding of hearing God's voice for their marriages and their relationships. I wanted to create a safe place for women to share, heal, and receive love from their Heavenly Father.

Lord, speak to me about the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. How have I been using it? Have I failed to use it?
You have used it on occasion but have largely lived out of a sense of duty and striving to do only what I can do through you. This is a hard lesson to learn especially for those who have been taught from an early age to perform, strive, to do and not to do. My way is so much better. It is the only way of Life. The other is certain death and defeat. You have experienced both the life and the death, but far too often you have experienced the death.
In the dream I saw a beached whale that had swallowed up some people. I felt sorry for the people who were trapped in the whale’s stomach, as they were under so much pressure (i.e. my sense). However I was not intending to do anything to help them.
Then the whale lunged up and was going to fall down on me and crush me. I fought to leap out of the way. I lunged up in bed, wide awake and extremely frightened.
In 1935, the book God Calling by Two Listeners was published in England. I discovered this book in the 1970’s and was astounded that it was full book of devotionals of Jesus speaking to these ladies in their devotional times. I had seen this in the Bible, but nowhere else. I hungered for this experience, and in 1979 I was led to take one year to see if I could learn to hear God’s voice like they did.
God provided the breakthrough I was seeking and from it came a book in 1980 which was initially called Communion With God. Later editions had titles such as Dialogue with God, How to Hear God’s Voice, 4 Keys to Hearing God’s Voice, plus a number of versions for children ages 3 and up.

It is an honor to do a podcast with Dr. Karl Lehman on the topic of various inner healing methods. Dr. Karl has been involved in inner healing for more than 35 years, as have I. I was reading a 1941 National Geographic about the Isle of Patmos. It described the grotto that the apostle John lived in when the Romans banished him to Patmos' Isle. Away from people, John was alone with God, and although it was designed as a punishment, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. John wrote the gospel of John and the book of Revelation in that grotto.
I have recently had the joy of building a friendship with Dr. Karl Lehman who is a board-certified psychiatrist and the author of Outsmarting Yourself and The Immanuel Approach (750 pages long). Dr. Karl has especially worked to integrate faith-based emotional healing with insights provided by psychological and neurological research.
