The news continuously presents us with the voices of mockers of truth and righteousness. It is enough to make you throw up your hands in despair, but don’t. The following is adapted from an assignment sent in by Craig Ward, as part of our “Through the Bible” materials. Full training modules are available here.

Recall the mocking of the enemy at the rebuilding of the temple and the city of Jerusalem (Ezra 4). It is the same for each of us who are called and wants to build what God is speaking to them. We face a battle with the flesh and the continual attacks of the accuser on the minds.
We must remember that anything God has called us to do; He is the one who will initiate it, empower us to do it, provide for its outcome, and bring it about. Look at the Israelites coming out of Egypt. The enemy who had held them in cruel bondage for so long was now completely destroyed and the Egyptians wealth was now plundered by the victories God had brought about for His chosen ones.
King Jesus made a total mockery of the demons triumphing over them by the cross (Col. 2:15). We who believe in Jesus have been blessed with every spiritual blessing (Eph 1:3). We have been made rich in every way in Jesus (2 Cor. 9:11). God’s divine nature gives us all things for life and Godliness (2 Pet. 1:4).
Nehemiah totally honored God through all that came against him. He did with the impossible because God’s hand was upon him! That same God tells us: “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13)! Those who have been given a vision from God to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem can take great encouragement from the word of God to them in Nehemiah. Thanks be to God whose word never fails.
God is NOT DONE. He is still using us, His Church.
"With this the words of the Prophets agree, just as it is written, 'AFTER THESE THINGS I will return, AND I WILL REBUILD THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID WHICH HAS FALLEN, AND I WILL REBUILD ITS RUINS, AND I WILL RESTORE IT, SO THAT THE REST OF MANKIND MAY SEEK THE LORD, AND ALL THE GENTILES WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME,' SAYS THE LORD, WHO MAKES THESE THINGS KNOWN FROM LONG AGO (Acts 15:15-18).
He has lots He wants to do through His Church today. Listen and discover what you are to build to restore righteousness in the land.
