One Encounter - Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda –  “O how I love you.  How I’ve proved you o’er and o’er.  Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus, O for grace to love you more.” 

As I sit here today, Lord, reading my journals, I am overwhelmed with your love for me.  Time and again you have told me that your love is the basis of everything you do.  And yet, even with that, Lord, it is easy to slip into believing that my relationship with you depends on what I do.  O Lord, I repent from this thinking and climb again into my Papa God’s lap where love is…LOVE!!!  And I can once again bask in your presence, knowing that all I have to do is receive it.  Thank you, Jesus, for you faithfulness and your love.

Jesus – LaWanda, my dear one, my precious, beloved one.  I could tell you a million times about my love and all you would have in the end is information about my love.  On the other hand, one encounter with My great love is all you need to know the TRUTH of it.  The information will change nothing but the experience will change EVERYTHING!  Everything, LaWanda.  And this, you well know.  This is the importance of coming to the secret place, for only when you do will you be able to encounter me.  Here will you receive so you can then give away what you have experienced.  Come again, dear one.  I am waiting for you here.
