Those of us who live in Florida are very grateful for the prayers of all of our friends during the threat of Hurricane Dorian. We are grateful that we were spared most of its damage. And we are aware that many still live in its potential path, so our prayers continue for our neighbors to the north.
But our hearts break for our neighbors to the south. The devastation in the Bahamas is unimaginable. Like many of you, we are impelled to help, but we want to be sure that any donations we give actually make it to those who need it most. There are many legitimate organizations who would be good beneficiaries of your gifts, but we have chosen to send ours to an established ministry in the Bahamas that we have known of for many years.
