“For by one offering [sacrifice] He [Jesus] has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. (Hebrews 10:14 NKJV)

According to the above verse, the perfection is already completed in the spirit world. It endures, even while we are in the process of working out our soul’s salvation (Phil. 2:12,13).

The 12 provisions of Calvary as my personalized confession

  1. Fellowship - I live out of my Father's initiative - God's voice and visions (Jn. 17:22; Matt. 27:51).
  2. New heart – My hardened heart has been replaced with a soft, pliable heart (Ezek. 36:26).
  3. Adorned - I am clothed with Christ's robe of righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21; Phil. 3:1-10).
  4. Empowered – Sin’s power is broken. Holy Spirit empowers me (1 Pet. 2:24; Phil 4:13; 1 Cor. 12:7-11).
  5. Radiant - My countenance shines with God's glory (Jn. 17:22).
  6. Free – The union of His Spirit to my spirit replaces curses with blessings (Gal. 3:13-14; 1 Cor. 6:17).
  7. Healed – By Christ’s stripes I am healed (1 Pet. 2:24).
  8. Financially blessed - Jesus Christ became poor so I could become rich (2 Cor. 8:9; 3 Jn. 1:2).
  9. Hopeful – Jesus fills me with hope (Col. 1:27; Gal. 5:22,23).
  10. Peaceful – I have perfect peace because my imagination is fixed on the Lord (Phil. 4:6,7).
  11. Adopted - I am welcomed with wide-open arms into God's wonderful family (Eph. 1:5).
  12. Heaven bound - I will live in heaven eternally with God (Rom. 6:23).

The Revelation: The Cross has made me flawless

Jesus took my…

…and gave me...

Scriptures showing the vast scope of salvation (“sozo” in the Greek)

1

rebellion, independence

restored fellowship

All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him (Isa 53:6). They may be one, just as We are one (Jn. 17:22).

2

heart’s iniquities

a new heart and
a new spirit

He was crushed for our iniquities (Isa. 53:5); A new heart and a new spirit I give you (Ezek. 36:26).

3

sins

His
righteousness

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Cor. 5:21).

4

defeat by the power of sin

power to live righteously

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness (1 Pet. 2:24).

5

shame

God’s glory

Endured the cross, despising the shame (Heb. 12:2). The glory which You have given Me I have given to them (Jn. 17:22).

6

curse

God’s blessing, the Holy Spirit

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law … in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so we receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Gal. 3:13-14).

7

sickness

healing

By His wounds you were healed (1 Pet. 2:24).

8

poverty

His riches

Though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich (2 Cor. 8:9 – see vss. 1-15 for context).

9

sorrows, regrets

hope

Our sorrows He carried (Isa. 53:4); Christ in you, the hope of glory (Col. 1:27).

10 anxiety joy, peace Rejoice in the Lord… Be anxious for nothing… and the peace of God will guard your heart… (Phil. 4:4-7).

11

rejection, fear

adoption as a son of God

"MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?" (Matt. 27:46). He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself (Eph. 1:5)

12

death

eternal life

The wages of sin is death; the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Rom. 6:23).

Summary Confessions: Easy to memorize, ponder and speak – The Cross was enough!

  • Jesus, You have removed my rebellion, evil heart desires, overt sins, slavery to the power of sin, shame, curse, sickness, poverty, sorrow, anxiety, fear of rejection, and death.
  • I am complete in Christ (Col. 1:28) – Jesus has given me fellowship, God's heart desires, Christ's righteousness and glory, power over sin, through the Holy Spirit, health, prosperity, hope, joy, peace, adoption into His family and eternal life.

The Cross was enough – I believe, speak and hold in my imagination the reality that “The Cross has made ME flawless!” I put on what Christ provided.

Watch this music video by MercyMe as they show how the cross has made you “Flawless.” It is awesome. We have purchased their entire Album, "Welcome To The New" and listened to it at least 100 times. They have a revelation of grace-based living, and hearing their songs releases tremendous life to our spirits. It captures the fact that Jesus has done it all on the cross. We can relax and go with the flow. He's got us!

Two-way Journaling Exercises (Two-way journaling explained here)
