Pray in the Spirit - Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda – O Jesus, precious Lord.  I love you, Lord.  I love you and I am so in awe of you.  The way you touch me.  The way you love me.  The way you fill me.  O Lord, you are worthy.  You are holy.  And  I am in so in AWE  of you.  Take Me deeper, Lord into this awe of you, this fear of the Lord.  This is my prayer today.

I see you standing behind me as I am seated in a chair.  I am waiting there, eyes closed.  You put your left hand on my shoulder and raise your right hand.  It has a pitcher in it.  As you speak a blessing over me, you begin to pour out what’s in the pitcher.  It is an anointing of love.  You are filling me with your love.  You are speaking your love over me, and the anointing of love just continues to flow over Me.  O Lord, I am so filled with joy that I begin to laugh.  You don’t seem to mind as you just continue to speak and pour.  I get the sense that this is an anointing that never fades.  It never goes away.  WOW!  Thank you, Jesus.  This explains how I can be without Mike and still be filled with joy!  Thank you, Jesus.  Thank you, Jesus.

Jesus – LaWanda, my dear one, my cherished one.  How I love it when you come and sit before Me, how you sing to Me and tell Me that you love Me.  Simple acts that open the door to My presence.  O how I wish that every believer knew the simplicity of this, that coming into my presence is not hard.  It would change them because you cannot be in My presence and not be changed.  It is My desire to take you from glory to glory but many do as it says in Psalm 32, “Don’t make it difficult, just come.  Don’t make Me pull you along, just come.”  You will always be blessed when you do.  Blessed by your obedience and blessed by what I’m bringing you into.

Pray in the Spirit, dear one, every day and often.  Be intentional about it.  Plan it and then do it until the planning is no longer needed and it is totally a part of you.  Holy Spirit knows exactly how to pray, LaWanda.  He knows everything about you, every problem you face, every issue you have and He wants to commune with you in this way.  Let this become second nature to you, LaWanda, like coming to the secret place.  O the places you will go, LaWanda.  It is no accident that we are having this conversation at this time.  For this will be an integral part of your new season.  More than it ever has been before for you. 

If you could only see what I see.  As you sow into Me in this way, the harvests that will come are truly beyond measure.  I am expanding your territory for My glory even now.  My hand is on you in a mighty way, and I am protecting you in ALL WAYS by the power of My blood, My Word and My name.  Let praying in the Spirit be under your breath and you will find yourself praying without ceasing.  As the song says, “Let My praise ever be on your lips!”  Can you see how this is a game-changer, LaWanda?  As I have said before, there are things attached to your obedience that will NOT happen if you do not obey.  And, like always, I am looking at your heart, LaWanda, and not your performance.  I am looking for your “Yes, Lord.”  Every time.  That is the goal, LaWanda, “Yes, Lord.”  EVERY…TIME.
