Rest in the Arms of Your Savior – Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda – O precious Lord, I come before you today undone by your love.  O Jesus,  that you have allowed me to hear your voice in the moment and pray for 3 different people, Lord, humbles me.  

What a blessing to receive confirmation that those prayers made a difference in some way.  It just seemed like the thing to do at the time, so these responses warm my heart, making it clear to me that I am hearing you.  Thank you, Jesus.  Thank you for the secret place and Journaling Prayer.  For I have heard you speak to me every single time I have come to the secret place.  And after hearing your voice for so long, Lord, I know it.  So I don’t have to think about it when you prompt me to pray.  O Jesus, I know the voice of my Savior!  I know your voice, Lord!  You said that we would, Lord, but in this moment, the magnitude of that realization overwhelms me.  O Jesus.  O Jesus.  I just want to say your name over and over again.  Jesus.  Jesus.  I am undone at the mention of your name.

Today I see you whispering in my ear.  O the sweetness of your breath, Lord, the melodic sound of your voice.  It is pure love, Lord, and it immediately melts my heart.  Speak, Lord, for your servant heareth.  Speak Lord, for I have heard your voice and am listening to you.  What would you have me do , Lord?

Jesus – LaWanda, my dear one, my precious, precious one.  There is nothing for you to do in this moment except to sit at my feet.  Remember what I said when Mary sat at my feet? “This one thing…”  I receive this blessing that you bring to honor me, requesting nothing in return.  I receive your worship.  I will do more in you as you rest here in my presence that you can possibly imagine.  Holy Spirit is at work in you even now.  Rest in this knowing, dear one.  Rest…in the arms of your Savior.
