Don‘s passion for teaching how to hear God’s voice and prayers that heal the heart comes from a lifelong search to find practical Bible teaching on how to have intimacy with our God who perfectly loves us. God’s voice, perfect love, and power can help us overcome the emotional struggles that we all encounter to a degree. Because Don has experienced great victory over many of his struggles, his passion is to teach many others to do likewise.
This passion steers Don to help and encourage pastors and leaders. As a third-generation pastor, Don has experienced and seen firsthand the intense challenges, pressures, and loneliness pastors face and their reluctance to seek and even be able to find trustworthy help. Don desires to help bring healing to these wounded leaders so they can be more victorious in bringing God’s kingdom to their families and the world.

After years of battling and "walking out" fear in my life (with some, but not total, success), my need for deeper healing became apparent when a traumatic event happened several months ago in the life of a dear friend. This traumatic event exposed to me that fear still had a grip on me, which was very unsettling.
Though I was about to begin studying via the CLU course Prayers That Heal the Heart, I felt led by the Holy Spirit and encouraged by a friend to seek this healing for myself sooner rather than later, as my peace and personal effectiveness in ministry depended on it.
I reached out to Mark Virkler who introduced me to counselor Don Paprocky. With Don guiding the process, we used the template of PTHTH for the Holy Spirit to guide us in a thorough process of deep inner healing and deliverance for the issues the Holy Spirit revealed, which were for me: fear of man, fear of evil, and fear of failure. I didn't know it was possible to get so much more deliverance and freedom after all of the deliverance I had received from the Lord already in the last 5 years of my life. I can now say, though, that I feel very confident in the Lord, and the hooks of these fears no longer have anything in me (as Jesus said that satan had nothing in Him, John 14:30). I feel so relieved and empowered to no longer fear people's opinions as I continue to follow the Lord wholeheartedly in His plan for my life. I also know in my heart at a much deeper level that I can absolutely trust the Lord with anything and everything and that He will empower me to do everything He has called me to. Nothing to be afraid of!

More about Don's history
Don and his wife, Myrna, worked as missionaries for years, where they have helped thousands of orphans and destitute, including evangelizing, and discipling believers.
Don committed his life to Christ at 19 and is a third-generation pastor. Don received his M.Div. and D.Min. from Christian Leadership Seminary and University, respectively, and has served in ministry for over 30 years. He is passionate about discipleship, having taught on hearing God’s voice and related courses worldwide for years.
Don was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA by Ukrainian immigrants. Don‘s father was the pastor of a very conservative Ukrainian Baptist church. Don had made a decision for Christ as a child, but fully committed his life to Jesus through a college ministry at Temple University in Philadelphia.
As Don grew with being discipled in the grace and unconditional love of God, he began seeing God‘s new direction in his life which led Don to move to Los Angeles. He met his wife-to-be, Myrna, at a church in Beverly Hills. They married and have now celebrated their 42nd anniversary.
Don completed his undergrad education in California, receiving a BS in Electrical Engineering at Cal State, Los Angeles.
While Don worked as an engineer in Huntsville, Alabama, Myrna and he were searching for more in their spiritual life. This led them both to be baptized in the Holy Spirit in the early 1990s, becoming fully committed to the Spirit-filled lifestyle.
With Don and Myrna doing all sorts of lay ministry in the church for many years, they heeded God‘s call to full-time ministry. They moved to South Africa and started a missions organization in 2005, ministering spiritually, physically, and emotionally to orphans, refugees, and destitute.
Don and Myrna served as missionaries for years in South Africa where they established churches and a Bible institute, fed over 100,000 orphans, refugees, and destitute with food parcels, and led tens of thousands to receive Jesus. Don has trained and continues to mentor pastors in South Africa remotely. The churches that Don and Myrna established in South Africa continue to thrive, with hundreds coming to Jesus each month, as well as many orphans and destitute being fed through an orphans farm they started and clothed and discipled at these churches. Don and Myrna also established a community center for local children, a daycare for the destitute, and a water well for the local village. Don and Myrna continue to help build churches in South Africa and are working on establishing a Christian school there for the orphans and destitute.
The Bible institute Don and Myrna started expanded to Zimbabwe a number of years ago, and many leaders are being taught the 4 Keys and other CWG curriculum. This teaching is growing rapidly in southern Africa. Don has also taught leaders in India.
As well as discipling and doing more humanitarian work in the U.S., Don and Myrna have expanded/continued ministering in Ukraine and Jamaica. They started ministering in Ukraine when Don and Myrna first visited there in 2008. With Don being raised by Ukrainian immigrants, he speaks Ukrainian fluently and has family in Ukraine. Don and Myrna both have a heart for Ukraine. This has been accentuated by the horrific war in Ukraine.
Don and Myrna traveled to western Ukraine in 2022 after the war there was well underway. They ministered with humanitarian aid and with spiritual help (preaching and teaching) to displaced Ukrainians who came to western Ukraine from the ground war zones in eastern and southern Ukraine, though western Ukraine has also been attacked with rockets during the war. Don also taught Ukrainian leaders the 4 Keys and PTHTH.
Don and Myrna are looking to go back to Ukraine in God’s timing and hope to be able to train pastors and leaders themselves to teach 4 Keys and PTHTH so they can minister to the many Ukrainians who suffer from PTSD because of the war.
Don has also been teaching the 4 Keys and PTHTH remotely on international Zoom calls and to people in the U.S. and also teaching via Zoom calls with Sexual Shalom Global Outreach Ministries (located in Jamaica), which ministers mainly to rape and incest victims. Don and Myrna traveled last year to Jamaica where Don taught 4 Keys and PTHTH seminars in person through Sexual Shalom. During their visit to Jamaica, Don and Myrna saw precious traumatized souls be set free from their heart wounds at the three seminars taught there (including a 4 Keys seminar taught to a children’s group). Don also counsels individuals, primarily using the 4 Keys and PTHTH biblical principles to set people free.
Don and Myrna are excited for the opportunities they believe God will open to help bring healing to the brokenhearted, which includes all of us to some degree and many of us to a great degree. As Don and Myrna have experienced their own wounded heart healing, they consider it an honor and privilege to be God’s vessels to help others be set free to be the amazing people that God called them to be.
