Welcome CLU community. What a blessing CLU has been to me and I consider it a real privilege to share this labour of love with you. The purpose of Reviving Christmas is to give leaders a way to use the Christmas story to introduce people to the work of the Holy Spirit.
I take twelve miracles from Christmas, such as the star, the decree, the closed door of the inn and link them to twelve spiritual principles that are designed to open the reader’s mind and heart to life in the power of the Holy Spirit. I specifically designed this to help leaders create conversation about the Holy Spirit by presenting the story of Christmas in a way that stimulates questions, which lead to dialogue, and ultimately to growth in the things of the Spirit.
The book is written in a simple to read devotional format with just one hundred and four pages including tips at the end of each chapter as to how to implement the truth presented in that Christmas miracle.
Just to give you a quick example, the first event in Reviving Christmas focuses on the miracle of the star (See Matthew 2:2-10). Of course the star equates with light. Isaiah 9:2 says, “The people living in darkness have seen a great light.” Light directly relates to revelation, insight, being able to see into God’s realm through supernatural insight imparted by the Holy Spirit.
