LaWanda – Oh, Jesus, I am undone as I read yesterday’s journal. I realized that it was 3 widows that you have sent me, not 2! Your GOODNESS truly is “running after me” as the Psalm and the song say. How many times do you answer a prayer, Lord, that I don’t even know it, I don’t see it or I don’t put 2 & 2 together? Oh, Lord, thank you for continuing to send people to me who I can share your GOODNESS with. Thank you for answering this prayer, Lord. Your lovingkindness poured out on me is like nothing else in this world. Your GOODNESS, your faithfulness, your mercy, your grace and your steadfast love and devotion to me – all in one word – lovingkindness. I think it is now my favorite word, Lord.
I see you today, Lord, standing behind me. Your left hand is on my shoulder. Your right hand is holding a pitcher. You start to speak a blessing over me and as you do, you begin to pour the oil that is in the pitcher over me. It is not just any oil. It is the oil of lovingkindness, your HESED. Oh Jesus, any of these things alone would be amazing but to receive all of them at once, to receive your mercy and your grace, your faithfulness and your GOODNESS, and your steadfast love and devotion in one moment…well, Lord, there are no words for it. Only gratitude. I feel like I have literally been crowned with lovingkindness, as it says in Psalm 103. Thank you, Jesus, my precious, precious Lord. I need nothing else.
Jesus – LaWanda, My dear one, My precious one, your eyes are beginning to see, really see. Even as you wrote this morning, you realized that there was yet another person that I had brought to you to share my GOODNESS with there at the women’s conference. So you can now see that these interactions, which seem so normal at the time, are actually answers to your prayers. I have said, dear one, at the very moment you call out to me, I have answered. Bringing someone to you to share my GOODNESS with is now a continual prayer for you. And you will have continual answers!!! Answers with double blessings contained within them. The person you are sharing with is blessed by your testimony of my GOODNESS, thinking that maybe, just maybe I will bless them, too. And you are doubly blessed – remined once again of what I have already done, knowing that I am ready, willing and able to do it again AND then blessed by your obedience as well. You are sowing seeds of my GOODNESS, LaWanda, and there WILL be a harvest! Can you picture a field of my GOODNESS, with people walking through it, plucking stalks of my GOODNESS for themselves as they walk? Oh, yes, dear one, these seeds will find good ground and they WILL grow. All because you were willing to sow them. Because you were willing to share them. Because you prayed a simple prayer, asking me to bring them to you. It is my good pleasure to give you the kingdom, LaWanda, and that includes answers to your prayers, even really simple ones.
