Testimony back on “Ever Feel Like Solomon” blog

Dear Mark, Thank you for posting the "Ever feel like Solomon..." podcast yesterday.  I listened to it this morning as part of my morning routine.  I have felt like this at times lately, and made the connection when I heard your podcast that it was the feeling that all things are vanity.  I am a busy homeschooling mom and wife.  I have been blessed by learning to hear God's voice through your ministry, but I have been journaling sporadically for a while.  I did today's journaling in the midst of my family around me, starting our day.  I put on journaling music that everyone could hear.  Even in this busyness, Jesus met me.  Here is my journaling:

 

8/20/25 Lord, I love you. I give you today. What do you have for me today? “I’m glad you came today.  Life without me is indeed meaningless.  How can you meet the needs of your family?  Let me meet your needs for love, belonging, acceptance, and appreciation.  I appreciate you, Stephanie.  I know how hard you work.  Don’t be defeated or discouraged.  I am with you every day of this life.  See my beautiful garden.  It is worth it to take time to drink in the sights and smells.  Refresh yourself in my pool of living water.  Drink and see that I am good.  I love you, Stephanie.  I give you your assignment, but not empty-handed.  Take this bouquet of roses.  A reminder of my love and presence as you walk through your day.  I meet you where you are at.  It is easy to be with me.”  During this vision, I saw Jesus taking me into his garden where there was a fountain in a circular pool.  I splashed water from the pool onto my face and took a drink from it with my hands.  After Jesus gave me the roses, he encouraged me with a nod to give away the roses throughout the day.  A symbolic way of sharing his love.  It has already made a difference to have this vision in my mind.  I have been more patient and gentle with my family as I see myself giving them roses.
