Note from Mark Virkler - I have pulled the summary statements concerning this prophetic word out of the message below and added them as an introduction - The main takeaway is that God is right now preparing us to take down every giant in our path in the days to come. There has been a lie that has been damaging – that darkness is incontestable - but we are called to be the light! Church, you are anointed and appointed to take down the giants of this hour! Malachi Talabi shares: I had a dream and, in the dream, I had a vision.
Kirsten Himmelberg has written in the excellent article below the reasons why she flags:
Some people think I have been a little sidetracked with my passion to flag for Jesus so I have created the following statement about why I flag.
From Mark Virkler: The journaling below from George has principles of intimacy in it which I believe can be used to build and restore intimacy in a marriage as well as with the Lord.
Romance is at the heart of the universe. It is the key to our existence. As Christians, we are engaged to Jesus, ruling with Him now, and soon to become His bride (Rev. 21:9; 3:21). So let's learn the principles of romance!
Just as our earthly romance with our spouse is composed of acts of endearment, so is our romance with the Lord Jesus Christ. We covered the ingredients of a good marriage in this blog, now let's apply them to our romance with the King of Kings. These concepts are from the Four Gifts of Love® Online Institute and their website is highly recommended.
Imagine the passion of romantic love being kept alive all through your lifetime. Is it possible? Absolutely! The pain of a divorce or living with a stale marriage is impetus enough for each of us to choose to invest deeply into keeping romance alive in our marriages. If first love is lost, the Bible is clear that we can go back and do the things we first did and restore our first love (Rev. 2:4,5). Now that is exciting! The principles below can be applied to restoring our first love with God and our marriage partner.
Today I wanted to share with you the Twelve Strategies of Compassionate Communication from Andrew Newberg’s book Words Can Change Your Brain. Charted below for simplicity.
How are your communication skills? Have you taken a course on how to be an excellent communicator? Have you journaled, asking the Lord specific questions about how you can improve your communication style?
According to the Carnegie Institute, 85% of financial success is communication skills. My guess is this 85% success rate extends to every area of life, not just financial success. We need excellent communication skills with our spouse, our family members, at church, at the workplace, and in social gatherings. What are the skills that God would have you develop to become a better communicator? The two-way journaling questions below will allow God the opportunity to instruct you concerning enhanced communication skills.
Ancient wisdom and cutting-edge science both reveal that observation causes transformation. We know that as we gaze upon Jesus we are transformed into His glorious image (2 Cor. 3:18). We have also explored how quantum physics correlates with our walk in the Spirit. We learned about the “Observer Effect” and that a simple understanding of this principle states that when we observe something, we change it. Just our very act of looking at something affects it.
