LaWanda – ♪♪ Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, there’s just something about that name.  Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain.  Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, let all Heaven and earth proclaim.  Kings and Kingdoms will all pass away, but there’s just something about that name. ♪♪

O Lord Jesus, there IS something about your name.  How can something so precious be so powerful?  O Lord, I surrender all that I am to you today.  Help me to be the light that you are to those around me today.  I am at your feet, Lord.  Undone by the words and melody of this sweet, sweet chorus, I learned so long ago.  ♪♪ Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, there’s just something about that name. ♪♪  O yes there is, Lord.  Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.

I see you today, Lord, speaking words of truth to a large crowd.  It seems impossible but everyone can hear you perfectly. O Jesus, your words are words of life to us.  Some are shaking their heads as though they disagree or don’t understand.  It has to be that they don’t understand, Lord, for how could they…how can anyone…not embrace these words of life and TRUTH, spoken with such authority? I don’t understand them, Lord, nor do I understand the people in this upside-down world we are living in today.  But instead of looking at them with your love and compassion, I just want to slap some sense into them.  I can’t believe I said that Lord, but it is true.  O Jesus, give me your compassion.  Help me to see the world through your eyes.  Help me to see the world like you see me.

Jesus – LaWanda, my dear one, my precious, precious one, YOU are right.  Sometimes you need a vision correction and I am just the one to provide it.  All that you must do to receive it is to ask for it as you have just done.  Ask and you WILL receive!  But, unlike glasses or Lasik correction, you won’t have to get your vision corrected over and over again…unless you take your eyes off of Me.  And then, you must simply ask again.  Remember, LaWanda, with Me, every “again”…is…A…GAIN, and that I never run out of them.
