The first Saturday morning of every month Dr. Flavien Williams and Dr. Mark Virkler have an interactive Zoom meeting which all current and past Christian Leadership (CLU) students are welcome to attend. Below is part of what Dr. Flavien shared in our last meeting. I believe it will be a blessing to all!
I hear the Lord saying, “Vision, foresight, insight. Vision, foresight, insight. Vision, foresight, insight.
As you come into my presence and abide with me I am giving you eyes to see and ears to hear. As you come and dine with me I am pouring my revelation down on you in a mighty way. I am causing the secrets of heaven to erupt within your spirit resulting in vision, foresight, and insight to saturate your inner being. Do not look to the left nor look to the right keep your eyes on me. Do not be distracted by anyone or anything, keep your eyes on me. As you keep your eyes on me I will go before you as a spiritual bulldozer and remove every obstacle in your way.
I will cause every mountain in your way to become a level plain. I will cause every hidden scheme others are conjuring up to be exposed. I am exposing the work of the enemy all around you. I am causing your spiritual eyes to be wide open so you will see who is truly for you and who is against you. I am showing you strategies as how to pray with such power you will get answers even before the words come out of your mouth. Watch the words you speak. Watch the words you speak. Watch the words you speak. You will find as you step into my kind of faith I am causing your words to be full of faith. Your words will be saturated with doing power. Your words will be life giving and bring into existence that which has not yet manifested.
Yes, the power of faith flows from deep within your spirit. That is why my word says out of your inner most being shall flow rivers of living water. I will cause many to flow in all nine gifts of my spirit readily so the world will know there is still a lion in the tribe of Judah. I am causing my living water to flow out of you and what is dead will come back to life again. What is sickly will be healed. What is diseased will be made new. What has not yet manifested will come forth. I am giving you eyes to see. You will be able to see as a periscope into the future. I will drop into your spirit ideas today which will be seeds for tomorrow's harvest.
These fruit producing ideas when planted or put into action will cause great blessings in the future. When I say in the future I am not talking years from now. I am talking months from now and in some cases days from when you put them into action. Some ideas will even cause sudden breakthroughs; they will be as a key unlocking a door which was once closed. Come and dine with me and I will reveal vision, foresight, and insight to you.” Glory to God.
Reflections
You can remember when your grandparents would stare off at the clouds in the horizon and say there is a storm coming and give you the approximate time of the storm's arrival. They could have done this because of the knowledge and experience they had. This is the same thing spiritually as we cultivate an intimate relationship with God every day, He gives us eyes to see and ears to hear.
How can I cultivate a more intimate relationship with God, you might ask?
- You can cultivate a relationship of prayer with your heavenly Father every day. Remember also to give Him time to speak to your heart as well. Prayer is more than a laundry list of needs.
- You can read His Word every day and allow it to renew your mind, transform your heart, and learn to put it into practice every day (becoming a doer of the Word).
- You can move in honor and value every day and learn to treat others as Christ Himself would treat them. You cannot be blessed by what you curse. If you hurt any one of God’s children, you are hurting Him. When you come to an understanding of that, the love of God will flow effortlessly in your life.
- You can learn to live a life being led by the Holy Spirit. He will tell you what to say. What to do. Where to go. How to react in every situation if you invite Him to be your senior partner in everything you do. Whether it be your relationships, your family, your friendships, your business, your work, and every other area of your life.
The world may seem as if it is falling apart but the glue of the Holy Spirit can bring it back together. Many are screaming for help in the valley of decision and God is wanting your life to be the crucible He is using to transform your sphere of influence. You are where you are for a reason. God can take anything you are going through and turn it around for His glory. All you have to do is surrender to Him.
